Do The Hopi & Other Indigenous People Worship the Same God As Christians?

For thousands of years, the Hopis in their prophecies say there will come at the end of the age a great chaos that would reign on Earth and from this chaos, the Pahana of the Hopi would return and Light would shine in the world.

We live in an age where everyone wants sources sited, proof… they need to have a proof that other translations are real and not just written by mere men.  Somewhere along the line… Shakespheare has been considered the only translation to make more English translations out of and if it isn’t in the Shakespheare King James Version, it just isn’t in the Holy Book. And yet, the teachings of the ancestors of indigenous people tell the story within our own Bibles of the teachings of Jesus.

The Following Are Excerpts from the writings of Author Dorothy Daigle.

She explains the Spiritual teachings of unconditional love as taught in Torah and by Jesus, and how they relate to the information about the return of Pahana of Hopi legend from Cherokee elder John Red Hat..

The story of Maasaw (Masau’u) is a beautiful Hopi legend. He has been described as a man, or being (kachina), that looked like a skeleton. This is similar to the description of the “stick person”, who Cherokee elder John Red Hat said came to visit him. According to Elder Red Hat, the “stick person” claimed to be his father.

Maasaw gave the Hopi instructions and warnings about a way of life he wanted them to follow. He said if they followed his way, they would live long and fruitful lives. He wanted them to be humble and live like he did with only a planting stick and seeds. He wanted them to take care of, and respect the land–live in harmony with it.

The Hopi lived this way for centuries, and they thrived. They lived in community and cared for each other. They planted their crops and sustained themselves. Sacred rituals were performed daily, and they never lost sight of Great Spirit. He was the embodiment of their daily lives.

Then came the white man with Christianity. They trampled on the Hopi sacred way of life, and forced them to follow the Christian way–a counterfeit way implemented by the Great Seducer, Satan. Now many Hopi have lost their wonderful, sacred culture, and walk the material way of illusion with Christians who claim to follow Jesus, but don’t.” End of Excerpt.

Now I have over time read many versions of the Hopi and the arrival of Pahana and the Maasaw…each vary a bit, depending on who tells it but they all speak of the same order of events and the promises. The Cherokee have a prophecy of the promise of the Rainbow and the arrival of the Rainbow Warriors for the restoring. In the choosing of the work of Daigle I did so because she authored many books on the subject. To me, the variations in descriptions is like different denominations and interpretations. When she speaks of the counterfeit way, it seems to relate to the merging of religions at Nicea and the control over all the people that came after, even killing those who did not convert. There are many prophecies and many ancestoral stories from the various indigenous tribes of people. Listen to the Elder Martin Gashweseoma below.

In a lot of referencing it does sound like they had the teachings of  Jesus (Yeshua )and of Enoch.  So how did it come to sound so different, yet the same teachings? Let us go back to the days of the Prophets and the days of Jesus and the first followers of the way. In those days, there were no book stores, but there was word of mouth and some had copies of teachings handed down on scrolls and papyrus by those who scribed them.

Daigle stated also that “Over the years tribes of the sons of Jacob had migrated into other lands. Especially during times of war and chaos. Many settled in North and South America, as well as the Isles. But, it was at around 1540 that scores of Catholic, Mormon, Moravean, Baptist, Mennonite, and Presbyterian men and women attempted to impose their belief systems on the Hopi. Force, violence and mockery of the Hopi beliefs were pervasive. All failed the Pahana test of do unto others.”

Indeed it failed the Pahana test to do unto others, it sure wasn’t the way to bring anyone to the Lord. They bore some rotten fruit by not being wise as a serpent and gentle as a dove and definitely drove them further away. Note: Some of the denominations mentioned above were not around yet in 1540…like the Mormons…but, the statement does indicate the point being made. As the Mormons believe Israeli tribes came here and were among the Indigenous people with the Word of God.

So, Grandmother Spider who appears in Hopi, Navajo, and Cherokee worship, among others, as a great teacher has been labled by those who came to the new world with their Christian teachings as “mythology”. In Native American stories, she created people, sang them to life, led them out of the chaos of the underworld, stole a piece of the Sun (light)and brought it to this side of the world, taught them the way to go to and how to make many things. To me and many others this sounds a lot like the Holy Spirit.

Which bring us to….

At the time Jesus the Messiah was sent by His Father God, to teach the people and prepare them to receive the Holy Spirit,  the people seeked a sign from Him as well.  They had gone far away from the teachings of the prophets and had a mechanical mega church routine where they had rewritten the law of Moses into volumes of new laws for the people and enforced them as laws of the temple.

Which at that time, The temple had become a political appointed organization.  The people had suffered years of wars and no king of the lineage of David had sat on the throne since King Zedekiah and the Babylonian destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem .  The chief people had been taken away to Babylon and Daniel wrote of their captivity and prophecied of future events where the temple would be rebuilt, and the Messiah would return.

The people were free to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple and the city by the Persian King Cyrus.  The people had forgotten the ways of the Temple and there was no official King set over them of the lineage of King David. The result over the next 490 years was the fulfillment of the words of Daniel the prophet and the destruction came first by Antiochius and the desolation of the Temple by placing a statue of Zeus in the Holy of Holies and the sacrifice of the Swine. Remember, at this time the Arc of the Covenant was still hidden by Jeremiah and they were without this Holy Arc. The years that followed were called the Maccabbean wars where Jerusalem was never rebuilt. The Macedonians fought the Persians and gained control of Israel and allowed them to observe their Temple laws, yet conquered them, followed by Rome who also allowed them to observe their Temple laws, yet conquered them. A King was politically appointed over them by Rome’s Emperor Julius Caesar as favor to Mark Anthony and King Herod the Great restored the Temple and named it in honor of Mark Anthony, and it was called Antonio Fortress.

When Jesus returned he was of the Holy Lineage of David from the Tribe of Judah and in line to be Israel’s true King by inheritance.  Jesus did not seek to be King over Jerusalem for his Kingdom was a heavenly kingdom. His purpose was to set up the Kingdom of God. He was annointed by John The Baptist as a priest forever by the Heavenly Order of Melchizekek, and was the King of all Kings.

Was Star Wars Mocking The Hopi Tribes…or just inspired by them?

When Jesus began his teachings, the pharisees and Saducees argued with him and wanted signs. No matter what he showed them it wasn’t enough and they always tried to find fault in everything he did, said and taught.  Much like saying… show us your source. Prove it. Or I won’t believe any of it.  For example the Pharisees had made the sabbath a day of restrictions where it was almost illegal to go to the bathroom, as that could be considered an effort which could be work. So one day, on the Sabbath, Jesus went against what Pharisees deemed “Sabbath” laws and he and his disciples were hungary, so they picked ears of corn and ate them. Jesus also healed a sick person. So the Pharisees charged him with working on the Sabbath picking corn and went even further in his working to heal the sick, and even laid charges of him doing this through the underworld dark powers, saying he cast out demons by the order of Beelzebub which is the chief demon of hell. Jesus stood his ground and overcame all of their seething accusations, and finally said, “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Matthew 12:36-37

And then they asked him for a sign to prove he was who he said, “But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas.”Matthew 12:39

Jesus never ran after these sorts… nor did he ever try to prove anything. He let his fruit be the proof of the matter.  He said let the dead bury the dead and a few times He told them to their face that their father was Satan.

Now we all believe this out of faith, even though we weren’t there to see it or hear it and we do not call it the “Mythology” of the followers of the way. Quite frankly, when the Holy Spirit speaks to you, you know it. That is the proof. Amen.

Which brings us to the written accounts of Jesus.

In Matthew 12 we are not told why Mary and his siblings came to see him and it has mostly been taught that he was teaching inside and there are pictures and paintings of him looking so calm and they are all having a good time and here comes his mother wanting in and he snubs her and says those who were with him were his mother and brothers and sisters, etc. … The same topic is written in Mark in more detail and explains the heated argument and all the Pharisees and people pressing into his house to accuse Him and it was aggressive. He was pretty much taking his stand that his family is all who follow him and do as he does. He was not insulting his mother…he was actually looking out for her so she wouldn’t get in the midst of the angry mob that had stormed his house on their witch hunt.

They called Jesus a blasphemer and accused him of things he didn’t do. They said he was out of his mind and called himself a king and when Pilate found no fault in him; they still had him killed.

That being said, we go to the question of…

If you had to flee for your life, and take your family with nothing, would you remember your faith? Would you write it down to remember it? Would you pass it onto your children and others so they could remember it? I sure would. Would it still be the truth? Yes. Would it have everything in it that was in the origninal that was written? No. Would it have the main message? Yes.

This is what we have in the New Testament. We have the accounts of what happened at the time of the Lord. We have accounts of eyewitneses and others writing from the testimonies of others who were alive at the time and of what was handed down. For example Luke was a scribe of Paul and not present with Yeshua as he did his ministry. But the words in Luke are with many details that the other gospels do not have. This is what we have and this is how the word of God has been carried on from generation to generation from the beginning, starting with the firsthand accounts of Adam, Eve, Enoch, Noah….and all of them.

The methods of writing things was costly and not everyone could read or write. They passed things to others by word of mouth.   Most who went into the nations to share the gospel (good news that he has risen) went with word of mouth and shared the truths they were taught.

Remember the days of the martyres during the inquisition, many who were tortured and killed had no Bible and they knew from the truth being shared word of mouth and the gift of the Holy Spirit what the truth was.  It was outlawed to even have one tiny paper with a scripture written upon it.

The question is… if you were of the time when the first followers of the way went into the nations to preach. What would you have done?

Picture it, you are working in the field and a man approaches and offers to work along side of you just to help for a bit. You let him and as he works he speaks and tells you of the man who rose from the dead and takes away the sins of the world so everyone can have life and live in His Father God’s heavenly kingdom.  Would you listen?  There were no books carried around and no book stores. The new testament wasn’t put together yet.  But the testimony of this man is sure. He either saw it or was with people who saw it. He has no verses memorized as in word for word out of a book and chapter, but he has a marvelous story of the way of Jesus and the miracles that he did and he has told the story of him rising from the dead and that of his promises to all who follow him. When you are finished working you offer the man to join you at supper. At supper he shares more of the way of the Lord. What would you ask him?

If we had not had the first followers of the way of Jesus set out to share His words and truth… we would not have the New Testament. Along the way, man has fine tuned things, allowed the Holy Spirit to guide them to write the words down and share them.  Today, we have the words of our Lord written in books and we can buy and choose what translation we want it in and what language. We can go to a book store or buy one online.  This was all made possible for us because others passed the words to others by word of mouth.

When Jesus sent the disciples out without anything…. and I stress that he sent them out WITH NOTHING and told them God would provide all that they needed…that was our first example.

The Ministry of the Twelve

Matthew 10:5-15: 5These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. 9Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, 10Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat. 11And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, inquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. 12And when ye come into an house, salute it. 13And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. 15Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Meanwhile, there always appears to be more interest in movies that mock the teachings of Jesus, such as The Matrix Resurrections.

Remember, it is man who has complicated Jesus’s message. Satan sitting in the chair. Neo And Trinity standing.  Note the name Trinity?

image 308

This photo is from a scene in the The Matrix – Resurrections: “The sheeple aren’t going anywhere, they like my world. They don’t want this sentimentality, they don’t want freedom or empowerment. They want to be controlled. They crave the comfort of certainty. And that means you two back in your pods, unconscious and alone… just like them.” Do you see the mocking?

Now I wouldn’t call the movie scripture, and I wouldn’t call it mythology, it is sheer creative writing that uses Biblical prophesied events that evil desires to play out which is the Khazarian’s ultimate, dark sided doomsday RESET project. It is a mocking as Neo dies for the people, and is resurrected and comes back for them only to be mocked and unable to free the people because he can’t over power their own free will.

But fear not – the Bible is clear that God and his people win in the end, regardless of how many movies Hollywood makes to make the battles look futile.
