What type of overnight sensation are we watching here? When everybody is talking, what are we hearing?

Is this the new American story? Back to dirt floors, seven kids, hard times? Remember the great depression was caused by the 1929 stock market crash? That’s when Roosevelt came in with his “New Deal”… are we about to get another “New Deal”? Are we in the final round of the “New Deal”? The great depression lasted for ten years of which during that time America was stripped down to its undies… and the gold standard was replaced with the “Jekyll Island” Federal Reserve.
So, what is this song ushering in? What is its significance? What are we to discern? Is this “his” story, or someone else’s scripted story for him to tell? Just asking for this is all rather curious.
So he asks, “When is enough, enough? When are we to FIGHT for what is right again?” He tells us millions have died protecting the liberties we have he urges us not to let them take it away from us and not to be like those once wandering in the desert and reminds us we have lost our way from God with false idols distracting us and dividing us. Is this a call to take to the streets? Or something other? Just asking.
It’s a damn shame that we are in such a state as this… that is true. But, where is the call to return to God here? Is that the message really? Or is the message to remind us of our misery, our falling, and now take up arms and try and shoot the sky apart? Fight against the DEW weapons with our rifles? Just trying to figure this out?
Is he the stereo type for the average American worker now? The far right voice that the left need to point at and say….”See, they are all terrorists! They want to topple the government…arrest them all… send out FEMA, these folks are mentally unstable!”?????? Look at the crowds that support this type of thinking????
He shares a family photo showing that’s as real as it gets and the narrator of the video tells us that this is proof that Oliver whose real name is Chris is giving us real, real, real country music. What does all of this mean?
So are they testing to see how many will follow a man with a song, who tells them he is mentally suffering and suicidal, living in a camper with a tarp on a roof and turns down any means of income to turn his life around? Jobless, and surviving now on his songs that he wants no income for? Not to say to stay clear of shady agents and contracts… but to say, where is his daily income to get him from A to Z?
The comments under his videos and other posts are all so supportive and he is a new American Icon, whether he desired to be or not… he is now a voice for the down trodden and has reached a target market of those who have totally had enough of the beating fists from “Rich Men North of Richmond” hitting the little people just trying to make a living.
The jury is out… time will tell. So many unanswered questions at this time. In any other year prior to 2020, there would be very little to no curiosity to speak of. But, with all the pysops and acts of war, we DEW have to look at everything.
It’s a darn shame its come to this. But we must discern all things, especially when Daily Mail, et al, is all over it and pushing it from all angles.

For some reason, I never bothered to listen to his song nor follow this story. After others that have been used as psyops (Jason Aldean, Kid Rock), I just didn’t trust it from the get go.
I experienced total meltdown regarding kid rock…when he shot up all the beer cans and then was seen drinking bud light….
Remember when ‘they’ said we would experience an internet blackout? Well, I am seeing in different ways….first it was Citizen Free Press….they were limiting the commenting and have redirected to to ‘X’…or Daily mail…oh CP has ‘open thread’ days…big deal…I don’t ‘twitter’ and daily mail is horrible to get through popups….plus thousands of people comment there and my comments seem to get lost…Then I tried New York Post….forget that…big mess of comments never to be seen as well….fox news is constantly filled with ‘remove ad blocks’ that it is ridiculous. Liberty Daily is worse than the nat’l enquirer….conservative brief and republican brief are a couple of jokes much like Daily Wire….I also tried Powerline, but no comments could be shown under disqus commenting.
If I have to pay to comment (American Thinker), forget it, especially with writer john green admitting he is a ‘libertarian’ – who cares and why do you have to say that?…….Gateway Pundit and here are the only places to speak one’s mind with people listening….and I like that it’s small groups.

I think you may be, “may be”, over reacting on this one. So many Americans working so hard to try and keep their heads up out of the water. Our dollar is crap, with our buying power almost nonexistent and wages and salaries stagnant yet our government seems indifferent to all of it. The people stay poor while our branches of Government get richer! I just think he hit a nerve in America with his lyrics, he is not a very good singer but neither was Janice Joplin, in my opinion.

Well, I had asked for your thoughts on this matter and you gave them. You have raised some valid points. I have been following this since about 4 hrs after it was released. It is amazing how fast it has spread. I was very moved by the song, and the passion in his voice. This style of music has always been the kind I could relate to, probably because I am just an idiot with a guitar. I have learned to question everything and that is why I was curious about your first impressions. If you look at the comments and reviews you can see that all kinds of people are touched by the song. Is it possible that he is a DS or AI plant? Yes, It is possible. Is it possible he has already been replaced? Oh yes, it is possible. Is it possible that we have all become jaded and paranoid to some extent? Could be. When i first heard the song I literally had tears in my eyes. Can I be such a fool to let a DS operation get to me like that? That little voice inside me told me this was genuine, heartfelt music from a real genuine man. I find hard to believe that anybody would see or hear something different. I guess I am just hoping for one good pure thing to come around. Of course, it is always possible that I am right……

Personally, for me, when I first listened to this song it didn’t strike me as if he was seeking God. There seemed to be valid points that all are struggling with. When I heard the words “selling my soul” it bothered me. Maybe I took it out of context. It really has a depressing tone and hopelessness to it. This is just my impression.

Cut to the chase — God wants us to come to Him, with urgency, and lay our concerns at His feet. In Luke 11, the disciples asked Jesus how to pray, and He gave us the Lord’s Prayer, but He followed that immediately with a story about someone who needed to feed an unexpected guest who arrived late at night. That person continued to knock on his neighbor’s door, and the neighbor said, because you won’t give up asking, I will get out of bed and give you as much as you need. Jesus was telling us that God the Father wants to hear from us, and if we approach Him with urgency, He welcomes that even more.
This is what I am relying on first, before grabbing my phone to look up the latest “thing” in this time of chaos.
I heard something today that was a good reminder of how God is in control. Pharaoh and his army did not part the Red Sea when chasing God’s people. God parted the Red Sea to save his people, then the enemy willingly went in and they were trapped. God let them follow in pursuit, until they were trapped. I believe God wants us, even if motivated by that song or by something else, to focus on Him, and bring our requests to Him with urgency. Just my 2 cents.

AMEN, Dianne, All I know is his words are true and come at a time when we are all feeling the strain as cost of living is going is going thru the roof. As a retired Veteran I am barely able to make ends meet, I live from paycheck to paycheck, If something happened to me, not sure how I would be able to handle it. My car stays parked in the driveway unless I need to go somewhere important. So I feel a very strong connection to this song and Oliver sings it raw and real. Many people are taking advantage of the system, I watch people at the cash registers in the grocery store’s using EBT cards to pay for what ever they are buying. When I applied for one of those cards I was told I make too much money, maybe I was the wrong color or nationality. I just hope all of us wakeup before its too late, Where we go from here God only knows, God Bless us all. And thank you Dianne for posting this article. We all have a lot to think about.
