The problem with doing unto others as you would have them do unto you, is not with doing good… it is with those who take advantage of your kindness and don’t know when to stop!
And then, with some it is all lip service. They say, “I do this, and I do that…” and they don’t. But when called upon to do what God has asked you to do, God’s children generally listen to their conscious and have empathy for their fellow man and do the right thing. This is not a weakness as some count weakness; this is a great strength. Sometimes we may grumble, but then we think about it a bit and then go and do the right thing, the thing we know the Lord said for us to do. As soon as we do our conscious is lifted up and we know we did the right thing. And some cheerfully say they will go and do a thing … and then they don’t do it. Generally, they listen to some other whisper in their head and rationalize their lack of following through. The Lord spoke of this in a parable of the two servants.
Matthew 21:28-31
28But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. 29He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. 30And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. 31Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.
Now this short parable is very deep and wide in the lessons it brings out to discuss. The first son who said I will not… afterward repented. Repentance is from the Greek word Metanoia which means to change, to turn, to think differently. It is the process of the mind to think, feel and be sorry and make a new decision. Metanoia is not a one-time event but a process, and as Christians we are called to live a life of metanoia (repentance). We are all growing through the Holy Spirit and learning how to live our lives where we do the things He said for us to do that please the Father. Which he made so simple. To love God our Father with all our heart, mind, strength and soul, and to love our neighbor as ourselves.
We are all at different stages of growth and we are all yet learning how to handle situations that challenge us. Especially now in this world unveiled for what it is- Babylon the Great.
The United States First Amendment and the freedom of religion was based on Biblical God given liberties and the right to worship freely. It was based on the gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord!
Today our freedoms and liberties are under constant attack. The devil has totally taken advantage of our kindness and doing unto others as we would have them do unto us and used it as a document of weakness against us. It has been a slippery slope and now a bone of contention because we have allowed ourselves to be deceived and forgotten that we also are to stand up for what is right. Little by little evil has crept in and taken over our nation of leaders as well as in the church. Using our own Bill of Rights and Word of God against us into twisted interpretations of thus saith the founding fathers, and thus saith the Lord when neither of them said it the way they shout that they did.
In a very great work written by John W. Ritenbaugh, titled, “Communication and Leaving Babylon“, he covers “coming out of her my people” through major Biblical scriptures with points that are thought provoking.
In his three-part series he points out many of the truths we have uncovered and much more. He begins with the call to come out of her my people in Revelation 18:4 and the urgency to heed that call, into “the great truth that among mankind, the course of the world did not begin in the original Babylon, but in the Garden of Eden with the disbelieving conduct of Adam and Eve.” I would add to that to ponder whether or not it was disbelieving conduct or complacency? Ponder it… they had nothing to fear, and nothing to be afraid of and they were not in the flesh… they were light beings, and the heavens were open to them to talk with God who created them.
The Serpent went into the garden and began his mind games beguiling Eve who then told Adam and Adam did the same. Imagine the shock of the first red pill after discovering how badly they really messed up. We are all at that same crossroads today. God is saying “Don’t partake of the things of Babylon the Great – Come out from her my people.” We are warned that Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. And now we must choose with our own free will to listen to God or listen to the devil that serpent, Satan, and dragon of old… saying “You will not surely die.”
Nothing is as it appears, and nothing the devil says is the truth. None of his words are to be held with any design except to deceive.
When you understand this, you are on your way to seeking the truth and the truth shall set you free. The only way to the truth is through God and God’s Word. God will send you the Holy Spirit to teach you the truth in all things that you seek.
That being said, here are some excerpts from Part One of “Communication and Leaving Babylon”.
“Compared to previous Babylons, the major difference in what we now face in modern Babylon lies in the intensity, availability, and receptivity of its communication. As far as we know, mankind has never before been confronted by these twisted, persuasive, demonic powers as he is today. They now have the global use of the visible and audible influence of radio, music, movies, television, and the Internet, in addition to the entrenched systems of thought and standards of conduct.
“There is no place to run. The battle to resist, then, is almost entirely internalāit is fought right where we live and conduct the business of life. What we must believe, and trust with steely determination and discipline, is that God never gives a person a responsibility impossible to perform (see the principle in I Corinthians 10:13). What God commands of us we can do! Therefore, if He commands we come out, we can come out right where we are. The coming out will not be a physical leaving of a geographical area but a departure from Babylon’s spiritual and physical influence.“
“This is not to say that changing one’s physical location will not be helpful in fighting the spiritual battleājust as not frequenting a den of iniquity has definite advantages! It is logical to assume that the intensity of evil communication would be worse in the heart of Babylon than out in the hinterlands. However, we must acknowledge the reality that we can take Babylon’s influence with us wherever we might go on earth. Even going to live on a deserted island will not spare us the burden of the influence Babylon has already exerted on us.”
Ritenbaugh goes on to take you through the scriptures and their warnings and brings you to how God gave Satan and his demons authority over everything from the earth’s atmosphere, down to the earth itself, which includes us. i.e. Satan is the ruler of this world. Paul tells us this in Ephesians and this is why we are given the armor of God. We wrestle with principalities and powers – evil spirits who do not like us, and at the present, inhabit the same space on this earth as we do. And there are many in the flesh who are deceived and help to carry out the wicked deeds of the devil to help kill, steal and destroy.
There are also many of God’s children who are duped to follow things that are not in their best interest or of God and often do not find out until it is too late. Like Adam and Eve were. They aren’t possessed by the demons but have been tempted to act against what is best for them and they fall into a snare that brings trouble and sadness and goes against what God would have them do. God is not a deceiver, not a liar, nor the giver of trouble. Satan and his demonic realm does all of that. There are many that are under this snare of deceit and they don’t even know it. Others have been mind programmed and or indoctrinated to believe things that are not true.
Now here is the shocker. Sit down for this one.
“There is no one in the flesh who has not been tempted and deceived by Satan and made bad choices except for Jesus the Christ our Savior who is the Son of God. Even all those who love God, have at one time or many times, been deceived and or gotten themselves into a mess by making wrong choices. All of God’s children are tempted, daily and need to call on the Lord for all things. Test the spirits.”
What? You aren’t shocked? You’ve heard this all before? Then it’s really no big deal to you? Who is yawning at this truth?
If you take it in stride like 2 plus 2 equals 4… that is a big sign of complacency that leads to believing things like, “you will not surely die”. And or things similar to it in todays age of “It’s okay, everyone does it.”
Like it or not, when the film, “Passion of the Christ” came out, it struck a big cord with viewers and was a shocker. Why?
Because after lots of watered down sermons and growing complacent with the words “Jesus died for our sins.” They went to seeing the brutal torture the Lord endured for our sins and all the evils done to him who had no sin… and it was a brutal torture and slaying. Not for anything He did, but for everything we did and all who are yet to do bad things even when deceived. He died so we could live. He conquered death and hell. He has risen and is our King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
Let the atheists and anti-christs call what the Lord did for us a fairy tale, for those are the words of the wicked demonic realm and those who have been easily deceived. And some, because of their unbelief and zeal for mocking God and His children, have become a great housing project for homeless evil spirits.
Today, in America and the entire world, we have all sorts of lawless ones having a hay day all around us and we continue to operate from a state of normalcy and continue to give out pieces of information whether it is true or made up or a crumb or a loaf of real bread. Why is that? Ponder it.
Some are complacent, some are numb, and some are focused on the Lord and not buying into the world and all of its fake news and liar systems. They are in the world and not of the world. They have their full armor of God on. Their eyes and ears are focused on the Lord and they are relying upon the Holy Spirit to guide their every move. That may sound simple… it is a lot harder to do than just saying it. For we are in the world bombarded all day and night. Keeping our Armor on and our shield of faith up is a task at times when the fiery darts are coming at you in great numbers, fast, deep and cutting.
The obvious facts are that today we have many people shouting all sorts of things that it is hard to pick out what is true and what is a lie. The world of Satan is in full force with great deceit in all of its’ forms. The prince of the power of the air is showing off all he can do to deceive and kill, steal and destroy. All of which are NOT ANY THING CLOSE TO A glorious achievement. All of which are of miserable darkness, hate, fear, pain death and hell are operating from negative and low vibrations… and nothing that will lift them into any heavenly realm… it is the stuff hell vibrates with.
Demons play you, then condemn you, then tempt you again.
It is a vicious cycle and you only give them more power to play you when you stay complacent and enjoy the temptations because you don’t know what is on the other side.
That being said, let us go back to the Excerpts: “If human thoughts and attitudes can be communicated through the air to plants and water, why can demonic thoughts not be communicated to another living beingāusāwithout them overtly revealing themselves? Most people in this world do not know they are deceived or how they became deceived. Satan and his demons have not sat us all down to tell us, “We are here to deceive you.” We know only because God’s Word reveals this truth to us, and we believe it. Despite this happening in our lives, deception can still be communicated to us unless we are astute enough to take care that it does not happen again.
“Nevertheless, deception and its resulting behaviors have been communicated to us through the culture we were born into. The culture, the world around us, is the medium of this corrupting communication. We have been freed from deception by God’s revelation of Himself, but the urgent admonition from our Lord and Savior is, “Don’t be passive concerning the responsibilities your liberation has imposed. Take action because the communication can be reabsorbed, enslaving you once again.”
Part one of the article covers a lot of areas pertaining to how the enemy enters in and how we are deceived in a way we can all identify as we all have been bombarded with many of the very same subtle temptations. Excerpt: “Thus, at the beginning, mankind’s nature was not corrupted by contact with this world. Genesis 3 records the episode of their confrontation with Satan that began the evil transformation of their basic nature. God did not create their nature as evil, but it became evil through the influence of another spirit that they chose to follow without any intervention from their Creator.
“The same process continues to this day, as each of us is born into this world and comes under the influence of the same spirit that influenced Adam and Eve to turn from God. We are all born with a slight pull toward self, but not with the evil that eventually develops and manifests itself in our conduct. Evil is notācannot beāpassed on through procreation, but it is fashioned anew by the spirit of the age into which each person is born.
