  1. Thank you Dianne. Am I the only one that thinks it is sad that we are not ALL anticipating the glory of the Lord? Would it be great to tell someone that the prison system we have lived in our entire lives is about to be destroyed. How I would love if they asked questions to know more, instead of changing the subject and laughing it off. I hear Jesus saying forgive them Father for they know not what they do. Looking around I see how far we have come, the filth and depravity that we all live in because of our greed and slothfulness and lack of love.
Today I was pondering 144,000 people. I looked up the capacity of most football stadiums and I found that they hold 70-80,000. Only 2 football stadiums of people will be marked… 😞

  2. More powerful, deep teaching from God’s Word! He’s given you understand & the gift of writing & they are such a great help to us as the Holy Spirit uses them to open our eyes & understanding. Each day I so look forward to reading your latest posts; they are a tremendous blessing. TYSM, Dianne!

    1. We are God’s army, spoken of in Ezekiel 37. We were dry bones bc of the famine of righteous teaching of God’s Word in the churches. It’s why many of us stopped going to them & did our own studying at home or with family/friends in homes instead.

  3. That’s what makes me crazy about a lot of “Christian” people because we’re supposed to be standing on the Word of God and speaking it forth into existence because our Words are so Powerful and we are going to stand accountable for our Words because we are the world changer’s because our tongues form our world! Jesus said, Life or Death are in the Power of our Tongues, so speak with Wisdom, Not as the world speaks!!!

  4. very deep — John832 gave this justice. It’s a very important reminder for me to stay alert for
everything and God the Father, Jesus His Son and the Holy Spirit are in control always.
Those who believe will practice the words as daily life and have no fear because we are one with Him
    in mind, spirit and body.
Dianne — you are the shaker and mover to remind us all how important The Bible is for our lives to be fulfilled.

  5. Dianne, thank you for these wonderful passages and this reminder to dig into God’s Word, including His promises to us. I so enjoy your emphasis on God’s Word.

I especially like the “If — Then” types of promises.

For example — I found one of those promises with an “If” statement of 4 things, and the resulting “Then” statement of 3 things —
If my people, which are called by my name, shall (1) humble themselves, and (2) pray, and (3) seek my face, and (4) turn from their wicked ways; then will I (1) hear from heaven, and will (2) forgive their sin, and will (3) heal their land. — (2 Chronicles 7:14).

And one of my favorite promises (obviously) is this one where an “If” statement tells us what we should do, and that is followed by a “Then” statement which identifies who we will become, and then it concludes with the ultimate result —
If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; …. And (conclusion) ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31-32)

And something I have noted about this promise in a few other Bible versions …. some versions say “set you free” instead of “make you free.” It’s just my opinion, but I believe there is a big difference.

I can picture someone held against their will, or even imprisoned, who could certainly be set free, and could then continue their life in the same old way. But when someone is “made” free, I think there is something stronger going on. Like a permanent kind of change, or even like a new creation.

A few verses after John 8:32, Jesus continues with this concept of being made free, and says,
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36). As if “free indeed” means that Jesus can create something new in us, (because the Kingdom of God is now within us). If Jesus can make that kind of permanent change — then we are no longer of this world, even though we are still in the world right now.

Reminds me of Paul’s description of this same kind of concept —

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Just my 2 cents. And a good reminder for me in these days of overwhelming evil, (where God seems to be on the verge of acting against it at any moment) — that this world is temporary. The words “If — Then” in the Bible suggest a choice that is to be made, and a result from that choice. And for me, it’s not through any particular religion, but rather through my relationship with Jesus Christ that, if I choose Him, I can then be made into a new creature — destined for eternal life with Him.
