The law and order is on Trump’s side as he has “Executive Powers” and can impose tariffs legally as President of the United States.

President Donald Trump announced Friday on Truth Social, that he will immediately impose a 10% across-the-board global tariff and sign a new order restoring tariffs, following the Supreme Court ruling on his emergency tariffs. “Today I will sign an Order to impose a 10% GLOBAL TARIFF, under Section 122, over and above our normal TARIFFS already being charged, and we are also initiating several Section 301 and other Investigations to protect our Country from unfair Trading practices.”
The new tariffs can only be put in place for up to 150 days; continuation beyond that would require congressional action. Unlike the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), Section 122 has explicit congressional authorization to impose tariffs in specific economic conditions, though much narrower in scope and duration than his previous global tariffs.

Well, this week my mother passed at 87 years old and she WAS my greatest adversary. My family has witnessed this for at least 20 years after my dad passed, but expect me to just forgive her and join in the celebration of her life. Well, I did forgive her 20 years ago, but then I removed myself from further contact. Father in heaven has shown me why I had to suffer these trials and by His grace I am a child of his and did not get snatched up by the devil like my mom hoped. I did not go see her on her death bead for one more jab/dart and can not seem to make myself go to her memorial in a few days. She never reached out to apologize in all those years and she has continued to spew hate and anger towards me to her dying day, and beyond even (the will). The pain of betrayal from the family who think I should just go-is proving to be a challenge. A literal nail in the heart. Should I in humility…just go because she was my earthly mom? So I need prayers at this time, because I’ve already died on the family cross. Should I resurrect myself for more poo to be smeared in my face? I can not see a reason why I should.
First of all…don’t be “shoulding” on yourself. You either go or don’t..it’s your choose.
Your story reminds me of Acts 7 when Stephen was speaking, many would say, harshly to the people to whom he was addressing. Yet right before they decided he needed to die, he looked up, saw heaven open and his last words were..”forgive them Lord, for they know not what they do.”

It was more about the commandment to honor your father and mother that I wish to obey. I wondered how I honored my mother. I honor mine by setting boundaries and by giving grace to her in the words I choose. It would be hypocrisy to pretend she was honorable to me when she was dishonorable in her actions toward me. She showed anger and contempt, hate even… towards me most of my life.

Be careful how you swing it. Recall how quickly the Lord rebuked James and John for even asking if Jesus wanted them to call down fire from the sky and burn the Samaritans for not receiving them. He told them they knew not what spirit they were of and the son of man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them. (Luke 9). Their quickness to use destructive forces against those who didn’t do as they did, reflected their misunderstanding of Jesus’ mission and their impulsive desire for vengeance.
Jesus sharply rebuked them, saying, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them” His response emphasized that His ministry is one of mercy, grace, and reconciliation, not judgment or retaliation. Instead of punishing the Samaritans, Jesus moved on to another village, demonstrating patience and restraint.
Lessons we learn from this is for us to have mercy over wrath: Jesus’s rebuke teaches that followers should respond to rejection and hostility with compassion rather than vengeance.
The incident warns against using spiritual power for personal anger or retaliation, highlighting the importance of aligning actions with God’s mission.
Although it is often very hard to do, having patience and forgiveness with others is the way: Later, James and John prayed for the Samaritans to receive the Holy Spirit rather than judgment, showing their growth in understanding God’s ways (Acts 8:14-17).
There are many teachings of Jesus where He encouraged His followers to respond to opposition with grace, avoiding retaliation, and making reconciliation the priority. These teachings and acts reminded disciples to remain humble, open to correction, and focused on God’s mission of salvation rather than personal vindication and revenge.

Dianne cautions often(rightly) that we are all at different points of growth in our understanding and walk with Christ on this path of life. Why are we so protective and defensive then of our dusty perception of The Truth at any given point?

Dianne, your reply above was very revealing, and spoke volumes to me. It encouraged me, and I could see your heart in those words, along with your other replies, and this Report itself. I know you are ok, and it comforts me. I was shocked that there was only 1 like on your reply. It made me happy, and I thought it would others too, but oh well, we are mostly blind and deaf anyway.
It’s hard even now to write this because of the hardness and blindness on fellow readers these days, but I feel compelled to say it nonetheless for even one that may have ears to hear.
As I am reading the discourse between commenters lately, I noticed something, a vein of haughtiness running through a lot of the comments on both sides of the spectrum.
It is a trademark of Apostacy in the body of Christ these days, those claiming, or professing to be Holy, yet denying the power of true humility in Christ by their speech(writing in this case). All words have power to hurt or heal. There is a spirit to whatever is being spoken, and that spirit bewrays the heart and mind who utters them.
Jesus said so himself. By our Words we will be justified or condemned.
This haughtiness and “holier than thou” spirit spills off these comments like a waterfall constantly, and it is grievous.
It’s like we are so afraid of being wrong, finding out we are seeing things wrong, or could possibly not see things clearly, that we strike out at each other with knives and swords to shut each other up, and even use verses(about judging, etc.) and The name of God to do so.
Yet The Word clearly tells us that as long as we are in this mortal vessel of clay we will only be seeing through a glass darkly, so why are we surprised at all when we find out we are in “left field” about an issue, whether it be earthly or spiritual?
One commenter said that when you are Born Again by The Holy Ghost(I’m paraphrasing here), nothing can pierce the Heart of Love. That remark is so far from the truth(and NO ONE CALLED HIM OUT), because Jesus(The Heart of Love) was and is pierced daily by our ways and words, and that is what killed him.
He broke to The Father, and let those knives and swords pierce his soul even to death, and he still forgave us with his dying breath while his lungs collapsed and his heart broke on the cross, …and yet we think we’re so tough through the Holy Ghost(The Spirit of Jesus) that “nothing can pierce us, and make us humble? Wow, Just Wow, is all I can say.
The scary thing to me is that we are resisting instruction, exhortation, or correction(which are the very reasons we were given The Spirit of Truth). Why are we so afraid and retaliatory to correction if it’s the way of life?
The Word says that Reproofs(conviction) of Instruction are the way of life.
Why is it so hard to hear that I may be a hypocrite when I speak as a hypocrite. Why aren’t we letting The Truth pierce us, and why do we see The Truth as an enemy, and then feignedly use The Name of God and his Holy Spirit also as a sword to strike down a brother or sister. Correction is only grievous to him that forsakes The Way. It’s like we are backwards in our thinking, and not ashamed at all.
I guess it was Bob who was tryin to reach out to anonymous, and say, “I get it, but it’s more like this, bla,bla,bla”, and it’s like we can’t even see that someone is taking the time to reach out and clarify or correct something that is being said, for someone, or everyone. Are we so weak in the faith that we can’t hear rebuke? It’s like we must walk on eggshells so we don’t hurt another’s feelings with correction, or exhortation. It’s so creepy, churchy and Christianlike. Most want to get to this Spiritual Place in Christ and Relax, and feel all goody goody about themselves like they’ve reached their destination because they were Born Again one time. Well folks, sorry(NOT) to shock the hell outta ya, but that is just The Beginning of The Journey with Christ(in you) to The DEATH OF YOUR CROSS. Jesus already suffered death on HIS CROSS, and now it is his TRUE BODY’S TIME to suffer OUR DEATH ON OUR CROSS, whatever form that takes. He already did it, so he will hold our hand through it, and it becomes easier and easier to die as we die daily.

And to this day, people are still wondering how and why all the prices of lumber, food health items, and so on, just shot through the roof. I remember when the mill went on strike and folks would ask us why on earth are you guy’s on strike, and that’s when we told them, that the lumber that we milled and exported, was costing us more to import the said finished product. Not only that, but a few of us at the mill discovered that the drying or curing time on our own lumber was being slowly decreased, thus we had more product by the board footage to sell. It made no sense to a lot of us at the time, since we didn’t see the difference, until we dove in deep and found this out. We were pissed..! We didn’t see any increase of wages, or product, yet we were being sold our own product for more than it was worth, and to make it worse, it was basically an un-finished product to boot..!!
People to this day wonder why a lot of manufacturing and production moved out of our country…duh!!
I shouted Hallelujah, when Trump began laying out all these tarriff’s..! It’s about phucking time..!!
I also laughed my arse off when all the “out of town” contractor’s had to sort out the lumber at Home Depot and other places, being as the lumber was not being cured properly. It is what it is..!! Yeah Henry. So well put. We left the remodeling business in 2006 because of many of these things. This is why all the fast track homes are such a sham.
Very poorly constructed with uncured lumber, and way overpriced. So you have people placing a mortgage on a house that will topple onto their heads in a short time(if they aren’t evicted prior…lol), while they sink into paying the Bank’s Debt to Their Lenders(mostly foreign entities now through Governmental “NGO’s”).
Don’t get me started on insurance. It’s all a scam as well.
So, I say to the wise(and fools),
Pray Commune, Fellowship and Pitch your tent with The Son of God every Morning, Noon, and Night, as he is The Only Dwelling Place that is safe on earth.
Get out of Debt as fast as you can before The Federal Government legally(illegally) takes and owns everything you thought was yours due to one main factor that almost every bank is owned by The Federal Government now by little “phrases” in their documentation that most pay no attention to.
Stay Mobile, don’t rely on your house. As things get worse, have a mobile plan. Remember, we are strangers and pilgrims in this earth. We are actually aliens in a strange land. When the “illegal aliens” are removed from our land, we will be next, because we don’t belong here either, if Jesus is truly our Saviour and Shepherd. Follow his Spirit, not your worldly intellect.
Sell or Give everything you have away, help the needy.
