Dianne, Could you please clarify something for me? You mentioned Charles Darby in this writing-I thought it was John Nelson Darby who introduced the Rapture to us. Another Pastor recently called him Charles Nelson Darby, this pastor supported the doctrine of the Rapture and said it didn’t start with Charles Nelson Darby. I just finished reading an excellent book called “The Last Semite” by TJ and Maria Smith. It is very well written and “they tackle the sensitive and powder-keg topics of Zionism and antisemitism: what it is and is not.” I highly recommend it although I disagree with calling out President Trump as a Zionist. I have family who has lived in Israel, who have now gone home to the Lord and a husband who was used by the Lord to awaken the American church as to why we are called to pray for and support Israel as the chosen people of God. I do believe you might call me a Christian Zionist – because God gave the land to the Jewish people – and He knows the struggles and those who will come to Yeshua. After having so many questions that were unanswered, I sought the Holy Spirit to show me answers to my questions that Pastors basically told me to shut up I wasn’t a pastor. I learned that – We are all Israel who have faith, there is no more Jew, nor Greek, nor male, nor female, but one in Christ. We are each a living stone that make up the Temple of God in His Kingdom that Jesus said was within us. God has made covenants with His people and kept them all. The covenant with Abraham was to have his seed bless all nations and he would have children in numbers as the sands of the sea. There were no Jews then, Abraham was of the lineage of Noah and a Hebrew. There were no Jews yet. The birthright was given to Joseph’s sons Ephraim and Manasseh for the eldest son Reuben, defiled his bed and the birthright was taken from him. So the birthright of Israel went to the gentile sons of Joseph. That is what it is and what is written. Jesus told his disciples to go into the nations and spread the good news (gospel) that He has risen. Amen. So the first disciples were called the followers of the way of Jesus. What are we? I have come to see it as we are children of God and all who believe are now one with God our Father, the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. The book of Hebrews explains the covenant was fulfilled and now our high priest is Jesus by the heavenly order of Melkizedek. John the baptist was the last of the Levitical priesthood bloodline and he turned the priesthood over to Jesus the lamb of God. So many things we were never told in Church because it wasn’t in their theology from their seminary teachings. The same as many Rabbi’s have their teachings and differing ideologies that they have written. Religious men have made many claims, interpretations and formed ideologies and theologies that stray from what was written by the prophets and what was fulfilled by Jesus. We must also remember that the first followers of the way were the Jews in Judea. It was the religious faction that denied Christ. As it was written that they would do. At the time of Jesus he was a threat to the appointed powers that ran Jerusalem and Judea. King Herod was not in line to be the King over Israel he was of Syrian descent. And King Herod the Great was appointed King by Caesar as a favor to Mark Anthony. Caiphas who was the high priest at the time of Jesus ministry was threatened, for Jesus was in line to be both King of Israel and High Priest… Caiaphas was appointed high priest a year earlier by his father in law Annas. It was a time of political upheaval under Roman rule.

I never understood how the pastor could say we are grafted in and now Israel, then say israel is for the Jews and they are Israel and God is for them for they are Israel and we must support the war for God is for that.
