TheTruth Shall Set You Free…

… It’s been hidden and you’re not supposed to find it! That’s what good versus evil is all about!

In coming to the knowledge of the truth… that which has been hidden shall be revealed means much more than just about the understanding of the King James Version of the Word of God, or any other version.

There have been many books that Jesus knew and the people understood that were hidden from us to see and read. Many knew not that such books even existed at all until the resurfacing of them in the Dead Sea Scrolls and then the search to find more began. Many were still studied and taught from by the Orthodox Jews, but since we, meaning those of Christian faith, were not Jews, we were told we were to study the New Testament and pay no attention to anything but what has been deemed orthodox by the council of Nicea and further revised by scholarly men on committees along the way.

We were not to read the books like Jubilees, written by Moses, where he was given much Wisdom of the years and days to come as well as heavenly knowledge and an account of events before the flood and after in the days of Noah, and the coming of the Messianic Kingdom. He was given knowledge of creation and people wonder why it isn’t told in such detail in Genesis? Perhaps because the details are found in other books like Jubilees? The book includes the counting of years of Jubilee and the laws that go with those years and what is to come upon the earth. To this very day the Orthodox Jews still count the years of Jubilee, as every 50th year was a jubilee year which was a year of liberty and freedom.

The jubilee was ushered in with the blast of a ram’s horn. (Sounding of a trumpet). In fact, The name jubilee” comes from the Hebrew word yovel meaning “ram’s horn.” This was a year of freeing bond slaves, forgiveness of debts, and a rememberance that God had freed them from slavery and now they were His servants with His promises of blessings to come. The word “freedom” in Isaiah 61:1 “To proclaim freedom for the captives”, is the same as Leviticus 25:10 that says “proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants”.

In Luke 4:16-21, Jesus is preaching in the synagogue and quotes Isaiah 61 and in so doing he describes His ministry and the messianic age as a great Jubilee Year. (The blast of the shofar… sounding of a trumpet!)

Luke 4:16-21

16And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. 17And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

18The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

19To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. 20And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. 22And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth.

Jubilees also contains the same warning of the wrath to come that is foretold by the prophets, and found in Revelations, and the book of Enoch.

Jubilees XXIII 18-23

18. Behold the earth will be destroyed on account of all their works, and there will be no seed of the vine, and no oil; for their works are altogether faithless, and they will all perish together, beasts and cattle and birds, and all the fish of the sea, on account of the children of men. 19. And they will strive one with another, the young with the old, and the old with the young, the poor with the rich, and the lowly with the great, and the beggar with the prince, on account of the law and the covenant;  for they have forgotten commandment, and covenant, and feasts, and months, and Sabbaths, and jubilees, and all judgments.

20. And they will stand (with bows and) swords and war to turn them back into the way; but they will not return until much blood hath been shed on the earth, one by another. 21. And those who have escaped will not return from their wickedness to the way of righteousness, but they will all exalt themselves to deceit and wealth, that they may each take all that is his neighbour’s, and they will name the great name, but not in truth and not in righteousness, and they will defile the holy of holies with their uncleanness and the corruption of their pollution

22. And a great punishment will befall the deeds of this generation from the Lord, and He will give them over to the sword and to judgment and to captivity, and to be plundered and devoured. 23. And He will wake up against them the sinners of the Gentiles, who have neither mercy nor compassion, and who will respect the person of none, neither old nor young, nor any one, for they are more wicked and strong to do evil than all the children of men.

There are many books we were told by the gate keepers of old that we don’t need to know. Yet, they knew them and read them. So basically, it was none of our business. In fact the whole thing was none of our business as it was written in Latin and most all did not know that language and it was spoken in the same. We’ve been told those were not orthodox at the council of Nicea, even though much arguments were given that many of the forbidden books were. Majority rules? Only in man made courts of dogma… not in the eyes of God.

Aside from a man who walked with God and God took him up into the heavens being abbreviated into a few short sentences is all we have of Enoch … that makes many wonder what they are hiding. But, when you understand there is a big book written by him and of all things… he was shown… it makes sense that we are to refer to that big book for more of the words of Enoch, even though man has said no because it isn’t in our man decided books of the Bible. Or maybe, as some say, it isn’t included because it is too confusing? Or maybe it tells too much about the fallen ones? Or the last days and all that happens in between?

Whereas in the book of Enoch in the very first sentence, he tells us it is for the distant generation which will be alive when the wicked and godless are to be removed from the earth. There are details of the Lord’s return and also contains many of the same parables that Jesus taught and the foretelling of the last days and what would come upon all generations on the earth. Then there is the forbidden book of Jasher which also gives a more detailed account of creation and the days both before and after the flood. Or the book of Gad which also speaks of detailed accounts and is quoted as a witness in 1 Chronicles (1 Chronicles 29:29). The passage reads: “Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer.” And where is the book of Nathan?

We have Methuselah the son of Enoch and grandfather of Noah, the man entrusted with the mantel of Enoch who passed on the books of knowledge of Enoch to Noah to take with him on the Ark, and all we have in our Bible is his geneology and his age? The oldest man to ever live and died at 960 years of age? And that’s all we have written about him in our Bible? That’s it?

image 14

But alas, the book of Enoch tells us that Methuselah gave the books to Noah to have and teach from and that was filled with the Knowledge of God and of all things to come throughout the ages. Enoch is quoted in the book of Jude. But we are told not to read it? Why is that?

The very first sentences in the book of Enoch say:

Enoch Chapter 1:1-9

1. The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. 2. And he took up his parable and said–Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come. 3. Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them: The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling,
4. And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, even on Mount Sinai,
and appear from His camp, and appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens.

5. And all shall be smitten with fear, and the Watchers shall quake,
And great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth.

6. And the high mountains shall be shaken, and the high hills shall be made low,
and shall melt like wax before the flame.

7. And the earth shall be wholly rent in sunder, and all that is upon the earth shall perish, and there shall be a judgement upon all men.

8. But with the righteous He will make peace. And will protect the elect,
and mercy shall be upon them. And they shall all belong to God, And they shall be prospered, And they shall all be blessed. And He will help them all, And light shall appear unto them, And He will make peace with them.

9. And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones to execute judgement upon all, and to destroy all the ungodly: And to convict all flesh
Of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed,
And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him. (quoted in Jude1:14)

The question is this: Why aren’t these books taught? Why were they forbidden by the papacy and reformed church? Why were they hidden until they resurfaced in the discovery of the dead sea scrolls?

And why is it that we are told of evil spirits, and Jesus cast them out which caused sickness and even shown they speak and begged Jesus not to send them to hell but cast them into swine… and yet, we are not told what they are other than evil and demonic? Where is our knowledge of understanding of this great enemy? The books that have been forbidden tell us much detail of the evil spirits and where they came from and why we are in battle with them. It is obvious that at the time of Jesus, the people were well aware of the book of Enoch and knew many things from it. Jesus never had to go into detail of what these wicked spirits were… he focused on teaching how to cast them out and rebuke them.

Enoch XV: 9-11 (Origin of Evil Spirits)

9. Evil spirits have proceeded from their bodies; because they are born from men, ⌈⌈and⌉⌉ from the holy Watchers is their beginning and primal origin; ⌈they shall be evil spirits on earth, and⌉ evil spirits shall they be called. [10. As for the spirits of heaven, in heaven shall be their dwelling, but as for the spirits of the earth which were born upon the earth, on the earth shall be their dwelling.] 11. And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble: they take no food, ⌈but nevertheless hunger⌉ and thirst, and cause offences. And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded ⌈from them⌉.

There are many books that were discounted at the council of Nicea, and many were burned at the time of the apostles by the Pharisees in Jerusalem and armies of Rome. The push to rid the land of any of the teachings of the followers of the way of Jesus and the followers themselves was a great tribulation in history.

We have a new testament flooded with the writings of Paul and little of Thomas, James, Peter, John, and others. In fact church councils boast of 27 chapters allowed to be read in the New Testament are written by Paul or dictated to scribes such as Luke for Paul. Why is that? To make it even more baffling… we had it transcribed from Latin to Shakespeare and all in the male dominant English as it had always prefered in all contracts and deeds and privilidge. It’s a wonder they ever had a Queen, considering the way they forbid women to do anything of importance in writing and music composition, let alone a vote or position of high office in business or in church? Now, I am not pushing a womens liberation here, I am only pointing out a historical fact. And one that stems from the halls of Roman democracy.

When we so boldly go beyond what we are told and sneak open some of the hidden books, such as the book of Adam… we find words that cross reference with the teachings of our Lord and the prophets we are allowed to read about.

image 10

For example: Compare the tree of life and living water from Adam to that of the Gospel of John….

From the Book of Adam CHAP. XLI.

9 After this prayer from both of them, Adam began to pray with his voice before God, and said:–

10 “O Lord, when I was in the garden and saw the water that flowed from under the Tree of Life, my heart did not desire, neither did my body require to drink of it; neither did I know thirst, for I was living; and above that which I am now.

11 “So that in order to live I did not require any Food of Life, neither did I drink of the Water of Life.

12 “But now, O God, I am dead; my flesh is parched with thirst. Give me of the Water of Life that I may drink of it and live.

13 “Of Thy mercy, O God, save me from these plagues and trials, and bring me into another land different from this, if Thou wilt not let me dwell in Thy garden.”

John 4:13-14

13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:

14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

So, as we go forward in this day and ponder over the book of Revelation and wonder of the meaning… we also find it was spoken of in the book of Enoch, and so much so the very same. Read the second and third parables of Enoch… it will astound you how it reveals so much of what John revealed, yet in more clarity. So much so I wondered if perhaps John was shown the Revelation of Jesus Christ to be understood by those with eyes to see and ears to hear…at a time when all the Word of God was being hidden? When it was forbidden to read of the truth and know of the things to come? For it cross references with the Book of Enoch and when the Book of Enoch was rediscovered… they would be able to see that indeed it was written and it is true and easy to discern with Wisdom of the Holy Spirit.

There are many religions… but only one true God and only one true relationship with Him through His Son Jesus the Christ. Man is fallible.

Keep on pressing into the Kingdom of God. Press, press, press.
