Hi Guys! Tammi here. Today I was talking to Dianne (who sounds GREAT btw! Best I’ve heard her since this whole ordeal started!) and she told me a story…
Imagine rolling over in bed, half-asleep, and spotting a random feather chilling right on your pillow. No birds in the house, no pillow fights… just this fluffy surprise staring back at you.
Four days ago, Dianne woke up and found a white feather on her pillow. Two days ago she woke up and found a grey feather on her pillow. She asked me to look up what it could mean and write a little blog post about what I found.
Here is some of what I found. First off, feathers in general are like little love notes from God using angels to give us the message, “Hey, I’m here!”
Feathers can appear in many places in many ways, but a feather on your pillow appears to be next-level intimate. This is not voodoo… it is believed to be a heavenly sign of hope and encouragement. As I dug into this topic, I thought how our bed is like our sanctuary. Where we pray, dream, we can receive visions, recharge, and process all the day’s chaos. The Holy Spirit leads us and teaches us discernment and gives us direction.
Finding a feather in your bed often means protection- it’s like your guardian angel tucking you in, or God popping by to whisper, “Sweet dreams, I’ve got you in my mighty hands.”
So, what could the message be for Dianne? Each must ask the Holy Spirit what it means to find the feather. You will be shown. The Holy Spirit will guide you to know what is true and to trust what it means as a sign for you!
I found that in the spiritual traditions like Native American, shamanic, or other tribes considered to be of Hebrew ancestor origin, that finding an angelic feather isn’t random. It’s often seen as a wink from God, angels, spirit guides, or even loved ones who’ve passed on.
Feathers symbolize freedom like birds soaring, transcendence bridging earth and spirit, and Divine messages. They’re like little reminders that you’re supported especially during tough times, transitions, or when you need a nudge of hope.
Finding a feather could mean protection, confirmation you’re on the right path, from God’s guardian angels who are sent to protect you. Some folks say it’s God saying, “Hey, I’m here! Keep going!”
Others tie it to transformation, like shedding old stuff and rising up. No matter what it’s usually a positive sign of love, comfort, and connection to something bigger. If it shows up during confusion or emotion, it’s extra reassurance that you’re not alone.
The feather color is where it gets personal and detailed. Colors tie into chakras, emotions, and specific messages. Here’s a breakdown based on common spiritual interpretations.
I’ll list the most common ones:
• White Feathers: The classic “angel feather.” Means purity, peace, protection, and spiritual guidance. Often a sign from God or a guardian angel saying, “I’m watching over you.” Super comforting during grief or uncertainty. It’s a Divine high-five.
• Black Feathers: They symbolize protection, mystery, spiritual wisdom, and new beginnings. Could mean your guides are in “defense mode,” shielding you from negativity. Great for times of change or when you need faith that things will improve.

• Red Feathers: Passion, vitality, and courage. Root chakra ignites energy, love, or action. Could mean a push to chase your desires boldly.

The bird type matters too. Eagle for strength or owl for wisdom. But the color’s the biggie. If it’s a rare color or shows up repeatedly, pay extra attention because it’s amplifying the message.
In summary, color adds meaning. If it’s white it signifies pure comfort and peace, like a hug from heaven. Black signifies extra protection mode, shielding you from bad vibes overnight. Brown or grey? Grounding you for better rest.
No matter the shade, it’s often a sign of transformation ahead signifying new beginnings brewing.
Isn’t it neat that Dianne got this amazing message from God? She was given a message that God is watching over her and protecting her with the white feather. And the grey feather was a message to rest and recharge. Amazing! How many of you have found angelic feathers or other signs of angelic protection in your home, and in your daily life?

The Law, The Prophets, and Jesus The Fulfillment of both used types, and antitypes to explain or shew the mysteries of The Kingdom of God to us.

My family took communion since I was a wee lad, knee high to a grasshopper.
It was always a VERY SOBERING Time, and done with utmost fear of God Almighty, and trembling before the presence of HIS BODY(The Saints) who were partaking of The Body and Blood of Jesus.
As a type, or parable of WHAT WAS REALLY HAPPENING IN OUR HEARTS, we baked unleavened bread and passed it around on ONE PLATE and each took a small piece of it, and used real wine(not grape juice, because there are no “alcoholics” nor are their any health issues IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD), and everyone had a “sip” from ONE CUP(not a dixie cup party, or a red solo cup party).
In this physical means(through lots of prayer and fasting first) we always did this so that even a child could commune (fellowship) with the body AND UNDERSTAND WHAT WAS TRULY TAKING PLACE.
The Eucharist Ritual(which I never heard till I was 40 yrs. old) has become a mockery of True Communion.
If this doesn’t prick our heart and stir us to pray to be forgiven for trampling under our feet The Son of God himself, IN HIS PRESENCE, then we are harder than nails, because Communion is ONLY ABOUT “SHEWING”(IN POWER) THE DEATH OF OUR SAVIOUR IN BROKENNESS, HUMILITY WITH ABSOLUTE THANKSGIVING FOR HIS AMAZING GRACE, without which, this conversation wouldn’t be taking place, and we would be eternally CUT OFF FROM OUR HEAVENLY FATHER FOR ETERNITY.

The white feather is to remind you to be optimistic and look on the bright side. The grey feather is a balance between 2 opposing forces, black and white. Answers to questions sometimes aren’t black or white, but shades of grey.
From reading your blog over the years, I see that you love your Savior and you are not lost. That’s the bright (white) side. Not sure i want to be delving into chakras and psychic awareness . I liked the idea of the feathers being a whisper from God until the explanations of the colors. I am very happy Dianne is improving. Continued prayers for her full recovery.
Lois, we don’t have to be afraid of All that stuff that is shown us about different parts of his ways. It’s the people that worship, trust in, and make a religion out of it, that defiles them by those things.
Christianity is no different to God. People use Christianity as a religion, worshipping an IDEA, OR IMAGINATION OF CHRIST, and it is vain and antichrist to the core, just like the worship of false gods or animals, rocks, etc.
Yet those are all parts of him and his ways. I’d run from Christianity faster than I’d run from a feather that dropped upon my head.
When we go looking for those things, we are trusting in them. When we look for Jesus(he’s everywhere), then we are trusting in him alone, and he can use ANYTHING TO REVEAL PARTS OF HIMSELF TO US, whether it be a rock, jewel, breath, good day, bad day, feather, clouds, wind, clothes, water, birds, elephants, etc.
Dad always said, a Wise heart finds Jesus in EVERYTHING he made, because Satan is hard at work to counterfeit everything as well, but when we look for Jesus, he shines through the IMAGE of the stuff, and reveals THE SPIRIT OF IT.
It’s like the movies he had us watch a lot, were to understand a parable of our time, or the way things are going, or just a giggle to fellowship over how God does things, or even a scary movie to understand a parable of how Satan works here to sway us, or just a parable of spiritual warfare between good and evil, Like Star Wars, Willow, Lord of The Rings, or a John Wayne, etc.

I see your point, Lois. I’d like to encourage you to look at it from a different perspective… The words “chakras” and “physic” have been associated with things we, as Christian’s, should avoid. Why? Because some church people came along long ago and decided those topics were “dangerous imformation” and threw these ideas (along with a dumpster full of others) in the trash. They made these topics off limits and pretty much forbid anyone even research these topics for fear of their soul. Here’s my take on it… We know that we’ve been lied to about everything. And, that the important things we need to know have been hidden away in the “don’t look here” category. What I have been shown is that God created us in these amazing bodies with abilities to do much more than we’ve been taught. What some call “psychic abilities” I call “knowings and visions from God”. What some call “chakras” I call my energy center points that God created me with. Some say crystals are witchy. I see them as living rocks created by God. God doesn’t make mistakes. He makes miracles beyond our comprehension. It’s the enemy, the beast and it’s minions’ who have hijacked all of the wonders of God and used them to try to hack back into the Kingdom that they’ve been forever cut off from. We must ask ourselves why go to all the trouble of it wasn’t something the Lord gave us to help us find our way back to Him? I’m on a mission to find out everything I don’t know and that means exploring some topics considered forbidden, esoteric, or dangerous by church people long ago who were doing the beast’s bidding.

My daughter has been into all of this for a few years. She she Christ and God I’m all of it. I’ve watched her transform into a caring and loving woman. She’s been working as a CNA and Patient Care Tech for 16 yrs.

So Happy you can help Dianne! Feathers have a special place in my heart as for some reason when I am outside with my granddaughters we are always on the lookout for feathers! We each have a special name we call each other, our names are; before each name we are called Feather. So my name is Feather grandma! Then Feather (first name of each grand daughter). The feathers we find are A variety of Turkey feathers and sometimes other bird colored feathers! I don’t believe I have had any on my pillow though! I am thinking of the old Movie called, “ The Littlest Angel” and he goes back home to get a special gift For God. One of his treasures in an old box. I think it was a feather…or Rock….. I will have to watch the movie again! I am pretty sure it was a feather! It’s been Years and it is a wonderful movie! a little sad. The little boy goes to follow a dove that is all I’ll say. If I can find that movie and can watch it that is if it is still watchable I will see what he gives for his special gift to the Lord.
