Crushing the head of the serpent! Jesus didn’t just decide to head into the wilderness and fast. He was led there by the Holy Spirit. He was fulfilling the promises made with Adam and all mankind.

Hey guys, Tammi here –
Everyone has been asking about fasting and today we’re going to do a deep dive. You know, fasting isn’t just that trendy diet thing everyone’s posting about; it’s this ancient, profound practice that’s been part of human life forever. Whether for health, spirit, or discipline, people have been skipping meals on purpose for reasons that go way deep. I’ll break it down for you: how it’s been done since way back, the spiritual vibes behind it with examples from different faiths, all the various types with some solid details on each, and then zoom in on those biblical stories that show it in action. Cool? Let’s dive in.
First off, let’s talk history—fasting’s been around since humans figured out fire, basically. Way back in ancient times, like the 5th century BCE, the Greek doc Hippocrates was all about recommending fasting for treating illnesses, saying it gave the body a break to heal itself.
In ancient Egypt, folks fasted as part of religious rituals or prep for big events, and the Romans used it for health and even athletic training. Jump to ancient China and India, where traditional medicines like Ayurveda incorporated fasting for detox and balance—think yogis and sages going without food to clear the mind.
Even in early Christianity, by the first century, folks were fasting on Wednesdays and Fridays as a nod to apostolic traditions. And get this, Native American cultures and African tribes have long used fasting in vision quests or healing ceremonies.
It’s like, no matter where you look—Greece, Africa, Asia—fasting pops up as this universal tool for body and soul reset. Over time, it evolved from survival (like during food shortages) to intentional practices in religions and now modern wellness. Wild how something so simple has stuck around, right?

Now, onto the spiritual side… this is where fasting gets really meaningful. People fast spiritually to connect deeper with the Divine, seek clarity, repent, or build discipline. It’s like turning down the noise of daily life to tune into something bigger.
In Christianity, fasting often means drawing closer to God, like during Lent when folks give up certain foods for 40 days to remember Jesus’ wilderness fast and focus on prayer.
In Islam, Ramadan’s a big one—Muslims fast from dawn to dusk for a month to build empathy for the less fortunate, purify the soul, and boost self-control.
Judaism has Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, where a 25-hour fast helps with repentance and spiritual renewal.
Over in Hinduism, fasting (or “vrata”) denies physical needs for spiritual gains, like during festivals to honor deities and gain insight—it’s all about harmony between body and spirit.
Buddhism sees fasting as a way to control desires and foster mindfulness, with monks sometimes eating only one meal a day.
Even in Taoism or indigenous faiths, it’s about seeking visions or divine intervention. Across the board, fasting’s this act of humility, showing dependence on a higher power and often leading to breakthroughs in faith or personal growth. Pretty inspiring, huh?

Alright, let’s get into the nitty-gritty: the different types of fasts. There are tons of ways to do this, from super strict to more flexible, depending on your goals. I’ll list out the main ones with a solid paragraph on each, based on what folks commonly practice today and historically.
First, the Absolute or Complete Fast: This is the hardcore version where you skip both food and water for a short period, usually 1-3 days max because longer can be risky without medical supervision. It’s often for intense spiritual focus or emergencies, like in biblical times. Your body goes into survival mode, pulling from stores, but hydration’s key, so it’s not for everyone—think of it as a deep reset, but consult a doc first.
Water Fasting: Here, you only drink water—no food, no other liquids—for anywhere from 24 hours to several days or weeks (again, with care). It’s popular for detox and weight loss, as your body shifts to burning fat for energy after depleting glycogen. Folks report clearer minds and better health markers, but it can cause fatigue or electrolyte issues, so ease in and out with light foods.
Juice Fasting: This one’s a bit gentler—you consume only fresh fruit and veggie juices, no solid food, for days or weeks. It provides some nutrients and calories, making it easier than water fasting while still promoting cleansing. Great for beginners wanting to flush toxins or boost vitamins, but watch sugar levels from fruit juices.
Partial Fasting: Also called selective or Daniel fasting (from the Bible), you restrict certain foods like meats, sweets, or processed stuff, but eat others like veggies, fruits, and grains. It’s flexible, often lasting 1-21 days, and focuses on clean eating for health or spiritual clarity without full deprivation.
Intermittent Fasting (Time-Restricted): This is huge now—like the 16/8 method, where you fast for 16 hours and eat in an 8-hour window daily. It mimics natural eating patterns, helping with weight management, insulin sensitivity, and cellular repair via autophagy. Super doable for busy lives, just skip breakfast or dinner.
Alternate-Day Fasting: You alternate between “feast” days (normal eating) and “fast” days (either no food or very low calories, like 500). It’s intense but effective for fat loss and longevity perks, though it might cause hunger or mood swings at first—ease in.
Eat-Stop-Eat: Basically, a full 24-hour fast once or twice a week, say from dinner one day to dinner the next. Created by Brad Pilon, it’s straightforward for metabolic boosts without daily restrictions, but hydrate well and listen to your body.
5:2 Diet: Eat normally five days a week, then restrict to 500-600 calories on two non-consecutive days. Popularized by Michael Mosley, it’s less about total abstinence and more about calorie cycling for sustainable weight loss and health benefits.
Prolonged Fasting: This extends beyond 48 hours, up to weeks, usually with water or medical oversight. It’s for deep healing or autophagy, but rare for casual folks due to risks like nutrient deficiencies—definitely not DIY.

Fasting in Action: Biblical Instances
Moses’ Fasting on Mount Sinai Exodus 34:28 And he was there with Jehovah forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
Moses fasted for forty days and forty nights while receiving the Ten Commandments from God. Talk about a power lunch!
Elijah’s Fasting in the Wilderness 1 Kings 19:8 8So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he traveled forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God
Elijah fasted for forty days and forty nights, sustained only by angelic provision, before journeying to Mount Horeb to encounter God. Now that’s what I call a spiritual boot camp!
Jesus’ Temptation and Fasting Luke 4:1-21Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led around by the Spirit in the wilderness 2for forty days, being tempted by the devil. And He ate nothing during those days, and when they had ended, He became hungry. Jesus fasted for forty days and forty nights in the wilderness, enduring temptation from the devil and preparing for his earthly ministry. JESUS FASTED TO BE CLOSER TO GOD! Talk about setting a high bar!

Esther’s ‘Fast’ for Deliverance

Esther called for a three-day fast to intercede for her people’s deliverance from Haman’s plot to annihilate them. When the stakes are high, fasting is the ultimate game changer.
Daniel’s Fasting and Prayer Daniel 9:3 3So I gave my attention to the Lord God, to seek Him by prayer and pleading, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes
- Daniel fasted and prayed for three weeks, seeking God’s mercy and forgiveness for his people’s sins and asking for their deliverance from Babylonian captivity. When you’ve got a big prayer request, fasting amps up your spiritual signal!
Tips for Fasting and Spiritual Growth
Start slow: Don’t go from zero to sixty right away. Start with shorter fasts and gradually work your way up to longer ones.
Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water, tea, or other non-caloric beverages during fasts. Staying hydrated helps your body function at its best.
Break your fast gently: Reintroduce food slowly with light, easily digestible meals. Going ham on a massive feast after a fast can lead to, well, a massive feast in your gut – not what we’re going for!
Listen to your body: Respect your body’s limits and adjust your fasting schedule as needed. Everyone is unique, so find what works best for you.
Combine fasting with prayer and Bible study: Fasting is like a spiritual turbocharger for your prayer life and Bible study. Use this time to connect with God and dive deep into His Word.

What do you know of Adam and Eve’s fasting? Can you dig into that one?
Ezekiel’s Fast – one of the most interesting in the entire Bible! God was very serious in his purpose and meaning! Do you know what that was?
Fasting 101: Your Spiritual Toolkit for Growth & Connection
Fasting is like the original spiritual hack, and it comes in all shapes and sizes. Let’s explore the different kinds of fasts, their spiritual benefits, and how to do them.
Full Fast: The Big Kahuna
- Duration: Typically 24-72 hours, but can be longer for experienced fasters.
- What to do: Abstain from all food and drink, except water. Yes, you heard it right – no coffee, no tea, no smoothies. Just H2O.
- When to break: When you feel it’s time, or after your desired duration.
Spiritual Benefits:
- Humility: A full fast reminds you that you’re not the boss of your body. It’s a humble way to say, “Not my will, but Yours be done.”
- Clarity: With no food to distract you, your mind becomes a crystal-clear channel for spiritual insight.
- Prayer power: Full fasts amplify your prayers, making them like spiritual laser beams straight to the throne room.
Partial Fast: The Half-Day Hero
- Duration: Typically one day, but can be longer.
- What to do: Choose one or two meals to skip, or reduce your intake to a small, simple meal (like a piece of fruit or a glass of milk).
- When to break: After your chosen meal time(s).
Spiritual Benefits:
- Flexibility: Partial fasts allow you to keep up with your daily routine while still experiencing spiritual benefits.
- Self-control: Skipping a meal or two helps you practice self-control and discipline.
- Focus: Like the full fast, a partial fast clears your mind for spiritual focus.
Daniel Fast: The Prophet’s Pick
- Duration: Typically 21 days, but can be shorter.
- What to do: Eat only fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Drink water, juice, or herbal tea.
- What to avoid: No meat, dairy, sugar, or processed foods.
Spiritual Benefits:
- Purity: The Daniel Fast helps you detoxify your body and mind, making room for spiritual growth.
- Simplicity: It reminds you that your worth isn’t tied to what you eat or drink.
- Empathy: By experiencing hunger, you gain insight into the struggles of those who go without.
Juice Fast: The Liquid Lifestyle
- Duration: Typically 1-7 days.
- What to do: Drink only fresh fruit and vegetable juices, water, and herbal tea.
- What to avoid: Solid food.
Spiritual Benefits:
- Healing: Juice fasts give your body a break, allowing it to heal and rejuvenate.
- Simplicity: Like the Daniel Fast, it helps you focus on the essentials.
- Detoxification: It helps cleanse your body and mind, making room for spiritual growth.
Water Fast: The Minimalist’s Choice
- Duration: Typically 1-3 days, but can be longer for experienced fasters.
- What to do: Drink only water.
- What to avoid: All food and drink except water.
Spiritual Benefits:
- Simplicity: A water fast takes minimalism to the extreme, helping you focus on what truly matters.
- Humility: It reminds you that you’re dependent on God for your every need.
- Prayer power: Like the full fast, it amplifies your prayers.
Alternate-Day Fast: The Rhythm Method
- Duration: Ongoing, with one fast day followed by one feast day.
- What to do: On fast days, eat one or two small meals (like a piece of fruit or a handful of nuts). On feast days, eat normally.
- When to break: Alternate daily.
Spiritual Benefits:
- Discipline: Alternate-day fasting helps you develop self-control and routine.
- Consistency: It provides a consistent rhythm for spiritual growth.
- Flexibility: It allows you to enjoy normal meals while still experiencing the benefits of fasting.
Tips for Fasting:
- Start slow: Don’t jump into a 40-day fast without experience. Start with shorter fasts and work your way up.
- Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water, even on non-fast days. It’s like the fountain of youth for your body and spirit.
- Break your fast gently: Ease back into eating solid food after a fast. Going ham on a massive feast can lead to, well, a massive feast in your gut – not what we’re going for!
- Listen to your body: Respect your body’s limits and adjust your fasting schedule as needed. Everyone is unique, so find what works best for you.
- Combine fasting with prayer and Bible study: Fasting is like a spiritual turbocharger for your prayer life and Bible study. Use this time to connect with God and dive deep into His Word.
So there you have it, my friend! Fasting comes in many shapes and sizes, each with its unique spiritual benefits. So grab your water bottle, find a quiet spot, and let the fasting journey begin!
Remember, fasting isn’t about impressing God or proving something to Him. It’s about drawing near to Him, humbling yourself, and seeking His will. So, fast with purpose, and watch as God works amazing things in your life!
I don’t know about you guys, but I have been overloaded with calories since Thanksgiving. I plan to begin a fast but haven’t decided which one yet. I’d like to get all the way to 21 days like Daniel or even 40 like Moses and Jesus but I don’t think I’m quite there yet. I already do intermittent fasting and have for years. I think it’s time to do some next level fasting. I think I’ll will start with my version of the ‘juice fast’. I will have a protein shake in the morning but fast from food. I will do this for as long as I can breaking the fast as I am led to do. I am doing this for spiritual clarity and to grow closer to God. I’ll keep you posted on my progress. So…. Who’s with me? Anyone up for a fasting challenge with me? Let me know in the comments! – Tammi.
Pssst… hey… over here!!

Hey guys – It’s Dianne! Just checking in to let you all know, I’m working hard on my health here. There has been a lot taking place and I am so thankful for Tammi stepping up and leading people in the direction of prayer, fasting, and discovery of things we have not been taught… at least mostly and not directly. Then there are the other things that have been skewed, twisted, and hidden from the masses… and some things appear to have been thrown out the window like “medical consent”, “Patient rights”, things like being able to have a doctor you choose????? And now the Trump team has some big million and billion dollar busts in the same state (heck lots of other states too) that has gone “in you face just because they can”….with lawlessness! Check this podcast with Patel out. Where is the truth? It’s dangling in the midst of lies and darkness. But, it’s there!
The good news is God’s children have already won this battle. We already have the victory and each day more and more people are seeing that they are a valuable part of God’s remnant!!!!!Are you ready to lift America up and over to our high priest forever by the heavenly order of Melchizedek?
There will be an update soon with Mark Taylor and Michelle Moore. Smile.
It’s time to be a part of this most amazing time in the History of mankind!

Keep on pressing into the Kingdom of God! Press, press, press!
This blog written by Tammi Kay and tiny update by Dianne!!! Thank you so much Tammi for doing all of the things you have done so freely from your heart to help others see what is taking place and ponder what is and has been hidden and now is being revealed. God bless you!!! – Dianne.

Hi guys! I set up a substack where I can post some of the blogs I’m doing until Dianne gets back. This will take the burden off Dianne to have to review each post and load them on her website. I just did a new report about God Given Remedies. Check it out…

Cool, yeah, I got yer emails as well.
Thank You!
Sorry for the delay getting reports up. It is hard for Dianne to sit at the computer for too long and get them up. I will be talking to her about a solution today. I have several reports ready to go. I am considering giving links here in the comments to the Google doc or possibly loading the, on my food blog. I need to see what Dianne wants to do. Stay tuned for more upcoming reports. I’ll figure out how to get them to you.
No Worries, Ma’am.
Take your Time!
It was good to hear that little piece from Dianne. That was cute to end with that….Psst…over here, thang!
I hope she is resting in Elohim, and not fretting or in a big hurry to get back to…”NOT NORMAL LIFE”…Lol.
This time is for ALL OF US TO PREPARE OUR HEARTS, and let the world fall away to its own, as we stir up to follow our SAVIOUR to Our Own Cross.
Any that are truly his own, will suffer just as Jesus said, and we must arm ourselves with his mind so that we are not caught off guard as our time draws near.
Most preach about raptures and prosperity, and all this deliverance stuff, and God loves the sinners, and all that other 1/2 baked gospel bullshit, and refuse to teach about THE SUFFERINGS OF CHRIST, that WE ALL MUST PARTAKE OF TO BE GLORIFIED AND RESURRECTED BY HIS SPIRIT.
When we continue in Sin, and refuse to repent, we BECOME ONE WITH OUR SINS, and when God’s wrath is finally poured out upon the unrepentant, we are consumed IN, and RIGHT ALONG with our sins, and iniquities.
WE MUST SEPARATE FROM OUR SINS DAILY, OR BE CONSUMED IN THEM, AND WITH THEM.
When we believe that God will come and rapture us out of, or before Tribulation, we are believing a lie, and must repent of believing that and all the other garbage Satan is sowing to Asleep Sheep.
EVERY WORD OF THE GOSPEL told by Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John(including Acts), WILL 100% come to pass upon THOSE LIVING IN THE LAST YEARS OF TRIBULATION, JUST AS JESUS AND THE APOSTLES SPOKE.
Not ONE WORD, MIRACLE, PARABLE, OR TESTIMONY WILL BE LEFT UNFULFILLED TO THIS LAST GENERATION OF BELIEVERS(ALSO KNOWN AS “THE BODY OF CHRIST”)
His Body must preach the Gospel for 3.5 yrs, be Persecuted, Crucified, Resurrected, and Glorified.
Each of our Crosses(within his Corporate Body…aka, The Bride)will be our personal testimony, and will be PERFECT FOR EACH ONE OF US TO GLORIFY THE FATHER.
If this does not sound like your cup of tea, then this True Gospel of Jesus Christ is not for you…go find a another false shepherd or prophet to tickle your ears into Everlasting Darkness
If you are afraid of suffering for Jesus, ask Your Heavenly Father to teach you about what this means to you personally, and to comfort you about HIS SUFFERINGS, by his Word, and His Spirit who held Jesus’s hand all the way through the fire.
Remember what Our Father is doing for Dianne. Her Heavenly Father is Preparing her heart, and drawing her closer through this adversity…That is precisely what adversity is for.
Remember OUR SILVER CORD…when it breaks, it breaks, and we cannot stop it from breaking, nor can we repair it…so we must daily be prepared to meet our Maker!
It’s a Joyful Vision when we have a good conscience
It’s a Terrifying Thought when we have a Bad Conscience.
Dianne Didn’t suffer for herself alone…DID ANYONE ASK THE FATHER, “What are you trying to tell me through Dianne’s Testimony”?
Just asking?
Thanks Tammi for Helping Dianne!
Don’t wait for applause from Man, just listen for The Voice and Nudgimg of The Spirit from Moment to Moment, and The Reports will come when they come.
The world isn’t going anywhere…lol.
It just repeats itself from day to day in Utter boring Darkness, like a broken record, but The Spirit is ALWAYS DOING A NEW THING, in The Kingdom of Elohim, for those with eyes to see and ears to hear, and a heart to perceive.
God Bless Everyone who fears Our Heavenly Father, and is craving The True Gospel, and striving to Mature in The Spirit, Soaking and being Baptized in HIS RHEMA EVERY DAY, ALL DAY, sitting in Our Heavenly Father’s Lap, and Crying or Rejoicing on his Shoulder as John did at The Last Passover Feast before Our Shepherd was Crucified.
Lay on his Breast and ask him EVERYTHING THAT COMES TO MIND, then Listen….Repeat, Repeat, Repeat!
Also, Tammy, Dianne, and all who HUNGER FOR TRUTH.
Take a Listen…it’s a Feast!

Wise word as always! Thank you for sharing your wisdom.
I am not the least bit offended in your comment, bit we all must learn this:
It’s NOT my Wisdom, Ma’am.
I know you mean well, but this is where MANY ERR, and don’t realize it.
Ma’am, I learned this the hard way, but I never forgot(will tell you at the end of this comment).
Every, True thought word or action is a GIFT from Our Heavenly Father through Jesus his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON.
I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.
Let me not, I pray you, accept any man’s person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.
For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.
Job 32 : 20-22
They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
Psalm 12 : 2
Surely I am more brutish than any man, and have not the understanding of a man.
I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy.
Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?
Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
Proverbs 30 : 2-6
Only to this MAN ever will be imparted True Wisdom, and Knowledge of The Holy…NONE OTHER, AND NEVER SHALL THERE BE ANOTHER…only Jesus Christ.
Whenever someone speaks by The Spirit of Truth and Wisdom, it is coming DIRECTLY from HIS SPIRIT…not from the man or Woman speaking.
A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.
Proverbs 26 : 28
The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from ONE shepherd.
Ecclesiastes 12 : 11
Man is a beast, and that will never change till all our beast-natured/666/ Adamic flesh is sent directly to Hell where it belongs.
Otherwise, there would be a bunch of little Jesus’s running around causing confusion.
Imagine a bunch of Shepherd’s for one little flock. It would be chaos unleashed in his Kingdom. It cannot be so.
And I will set up ONE shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.
Ezekiel 34 : 23
If this was spoken of David long after he died, it is evident this is THE SPIRIT that David was walking by, which is Jesus Christ.
For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:
1 Thessalonians 2 : 5
May The Almighty Father give you understanding in his time.
The way I learnt this was :
One Day, long, long ago, in a galaxy far far away, Dad invited me and my siblings over(which was rare and extremely a privelege), when Mom was out of State on business.
We got to go eat breakfast with him, and hang with him for awhile, and hear his Wisdom.
We were out in the yard after eating, and he was directing some friends on some project he was working on(he was always doing something constructive and beautiful), and everything was going well, UNTIL…
I decided that I would go say, Thank You, Dad, for inviting us over and The Breakfast, n all.
That was it…
He just said, “Go Away”, but I could tell he was very angry.
I learned later, THE WHY.
He sent a messenger to tell me, ” The reason I sent you away is because, it’s not me that decided to do these things. I’m just obeying My Heavenly Father, and Listening to what The Spirt is leading me to do, and you are acting like I did something, and, Thanking me, instead of The Father, where the idea came from.”
It’s a flattering spirit from Satan to steal THE GLORY from its Maker.
If good thoughts, words or actions came from us, WHY WOULD WE NEED A SAVIOUR, …and WHY WOULD JESUS HAVE HAD TO DIE FOR US?
And he(Jesus) said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Matthew 19 : 17
Even Our Shepherd, Jesus, in Mortal, Sinful Flesh-man/666/beast/fashion, wondered why someone(a flattering spirit, btw) would call him GOOD…Ponder that!!!
Let any that think they are spiritually minded, consider this, and examine themselves, and let Our Shepherd show us all the places we behave this way.
There will be contention in most hearts about this, but it will not change The Spirit of this Message, which is True.
I’m not talking about saying “Thank You” or not to someone. That’s not what this is about even the slightest bit.
Thanks Tammy!
God Bless you and Dianne!
Thank you!
Boo, no new report to read. Guess I will just sit here, inside.. since they are back spraying the villages Florida for about 3 days heavy (nonstop it seems) like bugs.🐜 how about where you are?
Howdy hey Julie,
I meet yet another Floridian …must be a lot of “sparkies” there. You are the 5th person I’ve met that I love hearing from – the other 4 ladies I’ve met live in and around Panama City. How we all met is one of those divine connections God makes for us.
I have not seen the chemtrails here in Arkansas for awhile.
On another note 🎵- I did finish the 3 day fast – (water is all I had) – and I’m not gonna fib about it – I am not ready to do another for awhile. The second day was the hardest – the 3rd day I could see light at the end of the tunnel. Of course, it did not help that I turned on the tv to watch a Hallmark movie which just so happened to show food food food – however, I just did a toast with my water bottle and got through it.
My sister called at the end to see if I was still alive – I answered the phone 📞 so it was all good – she said – gee – you are not even cranky. Are we supposed to be?
I cannot imagine doing a 40 day fast – so to those who have gone before me – well – you are divine in my opinion.
I did go back to watch the video that Tammi had posted about what happens to your body – it was the cartoon one – it had me laughing – and it helped a bunch to get myself through the worst of it.
Did I learn from doing the fast? Yes.
It hadn’t even been 3 hours into the fast – opened the fridge for a sip of iced tea – oops. I caught myself though and didn’t. The things we reach for without even thinking – habits.
As I went to feed my 2 doggies (they were looking at me at the appointed time) I was reminded that He always provides.
My purpose for doing the fast was for deliverance for our people – so, I am like okay – I did my part, Yah – you finish it! I know He will at the appointed time.
Much love 💕
c.
Ps – one thing for sure – coffee never tasted so good after that fast!
and I had a good excuse not to rake leaves.🍁 🍁 🍁
Great job carol!

Idk why that came up as anonymous … that was me
Spraying almost daily here in the southeast. Especially right before a weather front moves in…then the sky looks like a bunch of drunks trying to play tic tack toe!
I am in!! I have been intermittent fasting for over a year 18 hrs daily (6pm-12pm) and 24 hrs once a week. I have wanted to get more into the spiritual fasting and haven’t dug in yet… I just read this post last night and was excited to say the least. I had started a fast starting at 8pm Saturday (later than 6, because we had a Company Christmas party) & am going to try the 3 days with God almighty helping me through. I knew a fasting report would be coming, but didn’t know it would talk about Esther. I had just finished Nehemiah & was getting to Esther. I read it this morning & have looked at alot of the fasting verses in the bible. What really stood out to me in Esther was chapter 8:17 “In each and every province and in each and every city, wherever the king’s command and his decree arrived, the Jews celebrated with gladness and joy, a feast and a holiday. And many among the peoples of the land [a]became Jews, for the fear of the Jews [and their God] had fallen on them.” It has nothing to do with fasting, but I did not know this!! Did you? Anyway, great report! Keep me in your prayers that I have the willpower to overcome hunger & temptations. DISCLAIMER* Do not try this at home 🙂 (I do drink lots of water, sometimes with lemon & add minerals to my water twice a day, so some may even consider that cheating & not an actual fast. Trust me, it’s not easy when your a foodie). Good luck to all trying it out TIP* start small- 8 hrs 1st day, 10-12 next day and so on..
Forgot to add that I also will have black coffee! Be ready for a boost of energy also if doing a long fast, was up at 3 tried going back to sleep, decided it was time to get up and read at 4:30 🙂 GOD & my time!!
I’m starting a fast tomorrow – modified juice fast for 3 days. I will have my bucket proof coffee in the morning and a protein shake around 10. And lots of water. I am doing this for Spiritual clarity, to become closer to God, and imploring on The Father to purge the spike proteins from that shot they forced on her. If I’m led to do it again I will.
Successfully fasted for 22 hours. 8pm last night to 6 pm tonight. Just had some water (with a pineapple core soaking in it). Salad to break the fast this evening.
Plan to do another from this evening to tomorrow afternoon. Have late lunch plans so it will be a little shorter – 18hours maybe.
I am aiming to continue this way all week and then go for a 2 or 3 day fast Friday/Sat/Sun.
I do have to say I was able to take a situation before the Lord and I was encouraged to have a conversation with the other person and start it out in the right way. Discovery was I had been in the wrong because I had assumed something (which was the wrong assumption), got defensive and didn’t truly listen as I should have.
Repentance, Apology, and Forgiveness.
GOD is good. My heart feels better.
Great job! God sees you! And I’m betting He is saying “well done my good and faithful servant”.
That’s awesome! It’s not always an easy task. I am on 62.5 hrs as of now and plan to go till tomorrow morning sometime which should be over 80 hrs. I’ve never gone this long and yesterday was difficult, not gonna lie. Had times of feeling like giving in to weakness, glad we had a dance recital and plenty of activities to keep me busy. Was feeling alot more hungry yesterday than today, but came into work and have lots of breads, cookies, fudge, pies etc here waiting for me as a Christmas gift lol… so the temptations are in my face & I’m asking God to get me through. Not as hungry today (SO FAR). I have found that fasting from Sunday to Monday or earlier in the week is easier or pick a time where you will not be at home much and keep busy and occupied. Listen to your body! I’m glad you had a situation that helped your spirit!! I have focused on more of a spiritual fast this round as I feel I have a good solid foundation of the physical aspect of it now, also on a physical note, my hip, neck & upper back have had pain for over a year and it seems to have subsided quite a bit, so I’d say thank you GOD 🙂 WIN WIN
Win win indeed! That’s great!
The holiday food is tough. Good job on resisting! Yesterday the only thing that caught my eye was pie. I froze pieces after thanksgiving and took out a couple before I decided to start the fast when I did. I think we grow stronger when faced with temptation and turn away toward God.
Bucket proof coffee😂😂😂 I swear my iPad messes with me on the typos. I meant to say Bulletproof coffee. I’m on day 2 and so far so good. I didn’t sleep very good last night so I spent most the night in prayer. Which is a good thing too.
I made it 80 hrs!! Glory to God! I didn’t sleep well at all last night either. Lots of prayer ! I was weak and cranky this morning lol and am eating/drinking my first meal a protein shake with lots of fruit, chia & flax seed, beet root powder, collegan, honey and hasaki protein powder, BEST THING I’VE EVER HAD lol 🙂 (mind you I have these all the time) but, it’s never tasted so GOOD 🙂 THANK YOU JESUS !!
Great job! I have one more day. Hopefully I sleep better tonight.
Ezekiel was directed to act out unusual scenarios in hopes he could get peoples attention to stop rebelling and hopefully to ask him, what the heck are you doing? So he could say-hey- Yah wants You to know that if you don’t…there is going to be judgement. As with every true prophet, Ezekiel’s life wasn’t easy. First, the Father removed the delight in his eyes-his wife-died. To illustrate how God would remove desire (delight) in Judahs eyes-the temple in Jerusalem would be destroyed. Ezekiel tells about judgement and consolidation. How Yah deals with His chosen people. The temple was the meeting place between heaven and earth for Israel. Where Yah dwelt in Glory! But because of sin, He left that temple. We are currently in the valley of dry bones, the watchman have been warning of danger, ringing the alarm since 2020, loudly. Israel/Yasharel has been resurrecting in the background, returning to Yah, so we can resume our relationship with Him. But first, Gog and Magog have to continue, rebellion against Him. But then The King of Kings says ENOUGH madness. We all pray for that day.
The oldest sin is pride, it corrupts our wisdom for sake of splendor. Anything that takes our eyes off of Yah and all our blessings. Instead we preoccupy ourselves with appearance, possessions, attributes or accomplishments. That is why I think fasting is one example of something you can do to refocus. It doesn’t have to be food. It can be something else that is taking your delight in this world. Do I love ____ more than I love Yah? Am I living to ___ and I don’t have time for God? Fast from those things in the blank. If we let our guard down, pride slips in like a burglar through the ____ in the window. Remain vigilant against sin, especially now. Because we want to be part of the remnant that is saved💕
Julie – thank you for posting. Ezekiel sure had to do some “cray cray” stuff for sure. Maybe one of these days, we can ask Ezekiel – if he felt chosen. I think it would be pretty neato one day to sit down and interview all these chosen ones who have gone before us. Until then I love listening to what ya’ll share.
Much love 💕

Me too!
Yes! Exactly this! Thank you for this powerful message Julie! Thanks for sharing! It’s impressive to me how much ministering happens in the comments. God has gathered some Spirit filled warriors here on Dianne’s blog.
Dear Dianne and Tammi Kay
Thank you for all you do!
As I read this posting last night – the Esther Fast caught my eye.
I read the blog again this morning – and still – the Esther fast was catching my eye.
Mind ya, the only fasting I’ve ever done is at Yom Kippur – and while I’m very focused and do not much think about food during that time – by the end of the fast – I’m like 🎶food glorious food 🎶
I thought about it – wasn’t sure if I would do this – asked the Father and waited. Anyways, as I was reading the Scriptures this morning – lo and behold – the word “fast” was in the reading. I wasn’t looking up any Scripture relating to “fast.” It was a part of my daily plan today to read and “it just so happened” to be there.
Acts 27:9 NKJV
9 Now when much time had been spent, and sailing was now dangerous because [a]the Fast was already over, Paul advised them
As I continued to read in Acts 27 and 28 – a thought came up – “Are you being sent ahead to prepare the way for your family? Paul was certainly sent out.
While I’m sitting there – an aroma I’ve never smelled before hit my nostrils – it was a pleasant smell, however, I do not know what it was. Note: My nose isn’t particularly adept at smelling anything other than my stinky doggie (sorry Selah – my doggie has a skin condition).
Then I’m reading a commentary about some Scriptures in Genesis – in particular – Joseph. “The purpose of a challenge is to reveal what is in our hearts. Letting go of self until only God/Elohim exists” is an ultimate challenge.” Rut-roh. He’s getting my attention because there are some things I’ve asked Him to do- namely, reveal to me what’s been hidden in my heart ❤️ that I cannot see -because often enough I’ve said – I love you with my whole heart – but do I? So, I’ve said – I love you with all of my heart that I know how to give.
Do I really want to know? I think I do – I tell myself that I do – it’s a wee bit skeery.
Then to top it off, this morning I am reading about the Bondi Beach killings on the first night of Chanukah. 😢
I’m convicted to do the Esther Fast – from the blog 👇
“Esther called for a three-day fast to intercede for her people’s deliverance..
When the stakes are high, fasting is the ultimate game changer.”
I desire deliverance for His people.
I will start my fast this evening at sunset – first night of Chanukah.
(Am I Jewish? 🤷♀️ I have no knowledge of my family’s bloodline). I have never met the grandparents on either side – they are all deceased as are my parents.
I was led to celebrate His feast days 20 years ago. My entire family does Christmas – and all the other holidays – I hold no animosity regarding this – I know I’m different. Although, I am like “Come out of her My people.”
One thing I’ve learned – if you do not know who you are – it will be “defined for you.”
Chanukah is a story about the Maccabean’s revolt and the assimilation. Just found out recently – the 2nd Temple was rededicated on the 25th of Kislev. The New Testament has Yeshua attending the “Feast of Dedication” (Chanukah) – John 10:22-23. Aka as “Festival of Lights.”
The Shepherd Knows His Sheep
22 Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter. 23 And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon’s porch. 24 Then the Jews surrounded Him and said to Him, “How long do You keep us in [d]doubt? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”
25 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me. 26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep,[e]as I said to you. 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.”
I only write this to hold myself accountable – because believe me – my flesh even now is screaming – no…don”t.
Much love 💕

Wow Carol! Thanks for sharing that. I’m going to be reading that over several times. The love thing hit home. This year it has been put upon my heart that Gods Love is more than I can even imagine and that in truth what I think of as Love is minuscule (if it can even be called love) compared to what the fullness of his love is.
Cam, Thank you for your kind words – I truly do think we are living in some special times – and we’ve been given the blueprint – the Scriptures.
Much love 💕

Carol! This really ministered to me! What a wise and Spirit filled woman you are!
Well, I have to thank the little “sparky people” (Dianne and Tammi Kay) who start fires by their writings. I didn’t think of fasting on my own – had a little help from the “sparkies”. if I had posted this in telegram – pretty sure I would have hit the “delete” my comment button thingy.
Ps…there are quite a few “sparkies” in this group.
Much love,💕

I agree! I was just saying on Julie’s comment how impressive it is to me what a powerful group of Spirit filled warriors Dianne has gathered here. I am blessed to be with you all!
Well Carol, after your Chanukah comment about the 25th, that took me on a literal all day journey into dates, times, fast days and feast days. I was reading through some old notes I had taken about the new moon marking the 7th month because it marks a fast of Ezekiel and the destruction of the temple . The 7th month began this year after the moon entered Libra, a position in the sky not a constellation like we have been told. Our ‘World” map shows the Tropic of Cancer, the equatorial and Tropic of Capricorn lines as 3 parallel lines. Believe it or not, this is where the sun travels between these points, starting at the equator, making the sine wave which shows the position of the sun at these 4 divisions in the sky which are each 13 weeks. Most people have seen the constellation wheel, but the controllers put the line that starts Aries at the top, 12 o’clock with Libra down at 6 o’clock. So just rotate the wheel until that line is horizontal instead of vertical and now you located the equatorial line and you learned one of their secrets. How they make the world a circle while at the same time showing Gods map and the location of the sun. Now at 12 o’clock the line begins cancer, perpendicular to the top horizontal line as the Tropic of Cancer (summer solstice) and the first Capricorn line marking the bottom, 6pm, winter solstice, perpendicular to the Tropic of Capricorn line. This also makes 4 pieces of pie and the first watch starting at the Autumn solstice. The point of this explanation is that we lost the path of years after Constantine decided we need the Julian and Gregorian calendars. Making an unclean day a feast day and a clean day a fast. But we can still learn to observe Yahs clock and know how to read it so we will know for sure it IS the time for His return. The 7th month new moon marked the fall equinox and the 10th month will mark the autumn solstice on December 22, 2025. New moons means the first crescent and not the black moon as we are told. So that got me looking up what happened in the 10th month in the Bible, and this is where Ezekiel’s 10 Tevet fast and Zachariah’s “fast” months of the 4th, 5th, 7th and 10th that are a feast to Judah became a coincidence. Remember In jubilees, Noah is told to feast on the new moons on the 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th months. Ordained by God as a perpetual FEAST for Noah memorializing the new creation and salvation after the flood. Is anyone else thinking uh aren’t these the same months ordained by God as feast days already and we were told to fast on 3 of them? The same times signs in the sky are directing our eyes up to see the eclipses and their wonders and paths. Marking these months (September 22 seen in Africa marking the beginning of the 7th month) with times of the solstices and coming equinox December 22 marking the 10th new moon? And does anyone else feel like Zion and Jerusalem are the same place in Zachariah and it is talking about what we all are watching and waiting for now? Our Father, here ON earth ruling and everyone flowing into it with peace, truth, blessings and Joy? The new covenant..on earth as it is in heaven. I know I said it before but I have to say again, it is real Israel!
My father in law had a doctorate in Bible chronology and everything you discussed was totally his jam. Sadly, we didn’t care to learn from him when we could as my husband and I were lost in the world. When we had our spiritual awakening my father in law had a stroke and lost his knowledge. It was the saddest thing I’ve ever witnessed… a man on fire for God his whole life and just like that, he wasn’t. We tried to talk with him about the Bible and made a point to read it to him every day but the part of him that found comfort in The Lord was gone. We like to think he was already walking with The Lord in spirit. Anyway- I love it that you dive into the days and times. We have been lied to and our calendar changed so that we won’t know these things. It seems that Bible chronologists are a rare breed!
Indeed, a rare breed.
You had some rarefied company – your father-in-law sounds like a man after God’s own heart.
There will be restoration of all things – it is written. We are living in the days the prophets longed to see.
We were born for such a time as this!
Much love 💕
c.
Wow! That sounds complicated to me but interesting. I know our time and calenders have been changed. I will have to dig into this to understand. Thanks for sharing!
Julie –
Wowzer…that’s a lot of information to digest – I am doing good to find the Big Dipper.
Psalm 19:1
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.”
Constantine …ooog …
The calendars 📆 certainly changed.(why do all these calendar thingys have 17?)
What I know is the winter solstice happened during these times – shortest day of the year – and it was easier for the church to make the 25th a “fixed date” for a celebration “rebrand” of the activity (syncretism) – basically sun god worship.
Yes, I do think of Zion and Jerusalem as the same place. Some will have differing opinions.
Some will say it’s a “spiritual place” and not a “physical place” – me – why can’t it be both?
Either way, Jerusalem is one of the most hotly debated pieces of real estate on the planet.
I have a picture of a map with a “satellite” view – and it clearly shows – His name (YHVH) in Hebrew is etched in the mountains just outside Bethel. So, I do not believe this is just a “piece of dirt” over there.
Thank you for sharing the insights – it’s amazing!
Much love 💕

What if Jerusalem isn’t actually near where the controllers put Israel. What if they put it somewhere totally opposite of its location? I was watching a video the other day that was talking about Africa and the 4 tall mountains there. If you look at the continent of Africa, you can almost picture a face looking to the east with a head wound. The eye (in Uganda/tansania) is there with tears running down her cheek, her nose in mosambique and you can make out her lips and chin(South Africa) The eye is looking toward Mount Kenya, which they were making an argument for it actually being Mount Zion!
Interesting, I don’t think so though. There is way too much archaeological evidence supporting the claim that Jerusalem is where it is as we know it. I’ve also seen the video where the claim is it’s in the USA. For me, I always go back to the YHVH being inscribed in the mountains. Like maybe He knew these days we are in and everything is being tossed about and put His name there for that purpose. I think we’d have to throw out the Biblical record if that were true. There are so many things hidden from us. I do not say this to diminish what you’ve seen though.
Much love 💕
c.
I’ve been there several times I feel it is
I hear what you are saying. I have never heard of the mountain you mentioned. I guess it doesn’t really matter where… as long as we fly to the wilderness safe under His wings. I am sure missing Dianne, Father give her strength to write another day…but not about the people she mentioned above 🤣love you guys
Also..Melissa scott 24 7 classroom has mentioned gog magog..rapidly approaching if we see Russia and China at it
That’s it..
What y’all think..
Anyways this is a legit cloth..
And Melissa’s last few sermons are good..
Of course st Nicholas first.
I’d been.curious.how we’d recognize gog and magog where and when.if we’re still.here..
Gog has to.happen.before.the Messiah returns
Come out of her my people…Around Christmas I am always asking Yah to show me things about this season and He never lets me down. When I look at the lights and the decorations, sometimes I wonder if that is really pagan as they say, and does God know their hearts even though we may be ignorant? After all, they think they do it to celebrate His birth, which on the surface seems like you couldn’t go wrong there. But when you look at how all religions were herded into celebrating on specific days, and you call it that but we celebrate this…maybe it just ends up being a golden cow. This year I wondered, what would happen if all the people around the world got exactly what they wanted for christmas? Maybe it will happen this year.
I love reading what you write Carol, do not stop. I’m pretty sure we were sisters in sugarland😘
Me too
I still.got my stick..
The lawd is working on me..
I was led to stop celebrating Christmas a few years ago and to our family’s dismay we did. We are historically big gift givers and my family really think I’ve gone mad. This is just one more thing that’s sets us apart from most everyone and I’m ok with it. All of my beautiful decorations are boxed up gathering dust in the attic. I think I need to get rid of them because I cannot unknow what I’ve learned about Christmas. Add Christmas to the list of things we’ve been lied to about. The deeper I dig the more nefarious it is and I am disgusted and embarrassed I ever celebrated the pagan holiday wrapped up in a Christian lie. I am contemplating doing a blog about Christmas and its true history. I’ve done the research but haven’t put it all together in a blog yet. Dianne has though. I did learn something that adds another piece of the puzzle that isn’t widely known. Did you know that St. Nicholas (who the Santa story is about) was at The Council of Nicaea deciding what books of the Bible we would get to read and what translations we should be shown? He was! And he was the bully of the group literally strong arming the resisters, which were many. His background is downright evil and is just one more reason I’m proud not to celebrate Christmas. Maybe I will do a blog about it. It’ll be controversial and may not be well received because almost everyone celebrates Christmas even though they know it has pagan roots. I can’t count the number of times I’ve heard “Jesus knows our hearts”. I tell the same people who say this that Jesus has put it in my heart to stop celebrating it and they act like I just told them sugar is poison and quickly get away from me.
Thanks Tammi about Christmas
Yes, it is hard to unsee/unknow what I have learned about all holidays. I do hate this time of year. I am caught between loving to give or make things for others just because it is who I am and also not wanting to participate in all the pagan ways. Maybe you could address how we are to not participate in the traditions but how we are to deal with others who are weaker in understanding of the paganism of this holiday?? How do we in love deal with this. Hope my thought is clear.
Please update and all.the contributors like me love the interaction..please I love ya’ll’s stories yoo because it’s me too..
We appreciate you so much..
I grew up not doing Christmas. But as an adult with children, I eventually started doing it even though I didn’t believe. It has been in my heart for the last 4-5 years to stop, but the kids and grandkids ya know…. So I didn’t until this year. I gave them some Thanksgiving gifts instead because am thankful for them. But i was not overboard in the gift giving. So much simpler and less stressful. And feels better to be in the truth instead of participating in something I know not to be true.
AMEN, AMEN, AMEN Tammi! I asked the Holy Spirit to help me understand about Christmas 2 years ago and, BOY, be careful what you ask for because I felt like I’d been gut punched! I was so mad to have been “duped” my whole life and raised my children to believe in the lie as well -that dang ole serpent (mad face)!
I have chosen to be obedient and not celebrate Christmas; my whole family, however, thinks I’m “crazy” and sees nothing wrong with celebrating because, as you said, they say, “Jesus knows our hearts and it’s not for a pagan way”(but in my eyes, it is very pagan and NOT pleasing to Yahuah). I support you blogging about Christmas. If some get upset, maybe they will seek the Holy Spirit and be granted understanding about the truth of the holiday….if they are willing to accept the truth the Holy Spirit reveals.
Dianne, I can’t put into words how grateful I am to Yahuah for your recovery! Tammi, I appreciate your efforts so much! Thank you for carrying the torch while Dianne is on the mend! ALL GLORY to Jesus! (SMILE)
I appreciate this community. I feel like I am on an island in my day-to-day life. It’s so nice to be able to join together with “like minded” brothers and sisters who can relate and are going through similar life scenarios. It’s difficult when you decide to follow Jesus and it costs you family relationships. Sometimes I wonder why Holy Spirit is dealing with me and not them. But then I am reminded that I am seeking, asking & trying to be the woman He created me to be while they are ok being in “the system”. Anyhoo, I wanted to put my 2 cents worth in the comments and say THANK YOU for being a blessing to me!
michelle in GA
I did know that about St Nick and did stop putting up decorations as well. It was a dirty trick to deceive us. I understand it is hard for people to stop a tradition. But it is a lie and we should all stop “buying” into their system.
I’m tired of all the lies! Enough already!
Cam, I love your comment.
It reminded me that Mom always shared with us this:
Don’t be afraid to ask Your Father to shew you all the dark places of sin and iniquity in your heart, because he ALREADY KNOWS ABOUT THE WORST OF YOU, AND STILL DIED FOR YOU.”
It’s scary for us b/c mostly, we don’t want to see how horrible and leprous we really are in our Adamic/Beastmam/666/ Flesh, but we inherently already know b/c of our Conscience Elohim put within every soul.
When we acknowledge and confess that we are COMPLETELY LEPROUS, then, and ONLY then, ARE WE COMPLETELY WHOLE, and CLEAN, b/c of Elohim’s Spoken Word(Rhema) to us.
And if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his foot, wheresoever the priest looketh;
Then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.
Leviticus 13 : 12-13
And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
Luke 17 : 11-16
They were healed b/c of Jesus’s WORD, b/c he IS OUR HIGH PRIEST, and it was his call to pronounce them clean or unclean. In obedience they were healed on their way to the Earthly Priest, b/c he had not yet been ressurected.
He will hold your hand through the fiery trials of purging out these unprofitable things, blemishes, spots, addictions, and every difilement, to Make you a part of HIS PURE BRIDE.
Keep your focus on LISTENING FOR THE SPIRIT to guide you…He’ll do the rest if you keep following him to The Cross where we will be a Living Sacrifice for his Testimony.
When we obey and Crucify our OLD MAN(Flesh) day by day, we are kept in The Fire of Purification daily, and it becomes easier and easier to EMBRACE THE DISCOMFORT, PAIN, SUFFERING, or whatever he brings to us for his Testimony’s Sake.
Then every day becomes A GIFT!
It’s really all about LISTENING AND OBEDIENCE TO THE SPIRIT.
In this place, HE DOES ALL THE WORK, and we find The True Sabbath rest of Our Soul, on Our Journey to New Jerusalem.
I ask him to look in every cupboard, under my bed, under the sink, behind the washer, in the basement, behind the bookshelf and all the dark places where cockroaches and demons hide in the DARK.”
This passage has been coming to mind lately for all of us.
BEHIND the DOORS also AND THE POSTS hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered thyself to another than me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them; thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.
Isaiah 57 : 8
It’s those places IN OUR MIND where we spend time in thoughts that are displeasing to THE SPIRIT WITHIN.
I’ve noticed that when I ask him to do this, I begin to see A LOT, and also experience a rebellious spirit, or resistance to do his will, b/c The Flesh is being exposed, and drug out into HIS LIGHT(THE WORD).
When I see that Serpent and flee from it, cause it’s scary, what I really need to do is, like Moses, take it by the tail, and that thing I feared and fled from becomes a staff(testimony)in my hand to use for the next trial.
And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod. And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:
THAT THEY MAY BELIEVE that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, HATH APPEARED UNTO “THEE”.
Exodus 4 : 2-5
Who is “THEY”?
…The UNBELIEVERS IN US(OLD MAN), THE DEMONS, THE SORCERERS, THE MAGICIANS THAT MOCK THE SPIRIT WITHIN US.
His Rod and Staff are given to us for a COMFORT…not condemnation.
Then this Rod in your hand, becomes a Staff of LIVING TESTIMONIES that will DEVOUR all the Gainsayers, Liars, Unbelievers that have attached themselves to us, and come at us in the form of serpents, to say ” Where is Your God?”.
Let HIS ROD and REPROOF DO THE TALKING AND THE WALKING…JUST FOLLOW.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Psalm 23 : 4
The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.
Proverbs 29 : 15
My husband and I have been alternating between the 16/8 and 12/12 fasting. I find that I feel much better when doing the 16/8 fast. Will try to build towards the 24 hr fast and incorporate more Bible study/praying. Thanks Tammi for stepping in to assist Dianne during her healing journey. You are both a Godsend and I thank him for it everyday.
Jane Adams
I have been fasting that way as well. The Lord is telling me to do more.
Awesome about the fasting and all the info. Didn’t know much about it would bring you closer to God but I found that I prayed more and was in deeper thought about just everything! I tried a 3 day fast with just water but because of sickness blood sugar went to low so I had to take a little juice and some honey after about a day and a half. I had no knowledge of how to do any fasting other then I know it was done in the Bible. The funny thing was I didn’t get hungry and my husband asked how I could go without eating? It was the second time I tried to fast and because I wanted to do 3 days I had to tell him. The first time I did 2 days and was able to make things he loved to eat but things he knew I didn’t like and I told him I had stuff already so was able to get by with not eating the first time and only 2 days. So not telling your husband is almost impossible. He checks on me all the time to see if I am ok.
Dianne, glad to hear from you also! I think our prayers have been and are being heard, How Great it Is to Know we Have Such an Awesome God. Singing always helps relieve pressure, my tears flow when I sing the hymns while playing the organ!
I’d love to join you in singing those hymns!!
Me too!
Thanks for the great article!! Isn’t it amazing that in many bibles that Matthew 17:21 is missing! They don’t want that one read. In a video I watched somewhere, it stated that in times before people did not eat three meals a day like the rockefellers system tells us. I’m sure at some periods people didn’t come by food very often. I too have been trying to do an intermittent fasting. It is very hard to do fasting when you are around others. Eating is a social activity and as you pointed out we eat for pleasure rather than actually being hungry. Then there are always the husbands(as much as we love them) asking what are we eating today! So great to hear that Dianne is doing better. I’m also looking forward to an update from Mark and Michelle. Mark also has his father who is suffering also. We need to keep all these people in our prayers! Keep on pressing and SINGING!!
Yes, SINGING HEALS THE SOUL….Silver Strings of Praise!
Remember, that Old Guy, or could’ve been an Old Woman(can’t remember)playing a Slim Whitman Album made the Martian Bobble Heads burst in “Mars Attacks”.😂😂…for all the alien believers🤣.
It’s the simple Childlike Sincerity that Baffles Satan and his Demons…and is the deliverance everytime.
Dawn, Amen to all that.
I just learned today the Joy to the world the Lord is come song is actually not a christmas song. It is a song about Yashua returning to reign on earth, so halleluyah, I can sing that song!
I watched the Kash Patel podcast. Was he AI or robot or something else? His forehead never moved even when raising his eyebrows a bit, no googlie eyes, smiling the whole time even when talking about something that is a serious matter, never unclasped his hands. First time he said Pam Bondi’s name he pronounced it bond-eye, got it right the next time. All just seemed off to me.
Dianne, I’m so very happy you are improving and continue to pray for your complete recovery! Tammi, thank you so much for all you have shared with us so far and I look forward to more as your time allows! May you both be blessed!
Jan😊🙏🏻🕊️❤️
Soooo,fast food is not a part of this,just had too,many blessings.☝️
You maybe could do a fast food fast. 😂
I am on board to do some fasting. This report has been eye opening to me about what fasting truly is about – was never taught what fasting could do. I could make it through day of atonement (I’m not Jewish, but grew up doing Gods holy days), but besides being taught it was a day of reflection I never knew how much deeper it can take me in getting closer to God and how that can help with – well everything I’ve just been reading and learning here.
First thing is I’m going to go on a fast from watching tv. For the last year or so I got sucked back into watching quite a bit of tv and I knew it was keeping me from from the closeness that I had been feeling and developing with our Heavenly Father previously. He’s been working on getting my attention because the internet has been pretty much out for the tv connection for the past couple days. I was fighting with it again this evening and just finally gave up and started reading this report and then decided a tv fast it is. I shut it off and put the remote in a drawer.
I also am on board for food fasting as well which I have been attempting on and off for a while but have been giving in to the hunger cravings, but now that I understand the spiritual benefits and spiritual growth of fasting instead of for diet reasons, count me in for the fasting challenge 🧡
I have never done a fast to be closer to God either. The spiritual clarity and feeling closer to God are a win win in my book. It does seem like it will make it easier to associate hunger pains to getting closer to God. Instead of feeling hungry and uncomfortable I can feel excited about feeling hungry because that means I am getting closer to God. It’s also exciting that it amplifies the power of prayer. Perspective truly changes everything doesn’t it?
It truly does. I’m actually feeling excited about fasting because if that!
Nor have I done a fast to be closer to God. Your blog has certainly given me the needed information and ideas to get started. I find that I get closer to God in the middle of the night when I am trying to fall back asleep. I talk to God about my feelings, fears and anything else that may be troubling me. It gives me comfort to know that He is listening and that everything is in His hands. Perhaps fasting can strengthen this comfort I feel when I speak to Him in the middle of the night?
Me too He helps
Absolutely!
Thanks for helping Dianne At my age I can’t fast I eat very little food as it is As you grow old You don’t like food This doesn’t happen to everone but it has to me
You are on the journey the Lord has led you to travel at such a time as this! You are in his loving remnant!!!!
Dianne….So thankful you are gaining in strength and endurance as you run this race to reset your body and gain complete health again. So good to see you respond and write again. Relax in Gods love for you… breathe deep and keep singing!
Tammi, Great article….so thank you to both of you as you work together to continue to keep us informed. I usually do the 8/16 fast daily since I found out I have diabetes.
Praying you both that God’s wings keep you sheltered and safe!! G
Our God Reigns!!
Keep singing indeed! What a powerful lesson! When in doubt or afraid…. Sing to the Lord with all your heart!
Yes, singing is very powerful!! Especially praise given to our Father and Jesus. I have often times found myself singing hymns from books( usually when alone) just because I enjoy singing and praising the Father. The other day I felt such a dark heaviness around me so I started listening to praise songs in order to dispel the dark cloud around me. It helped immensely!!
Thanka Dianne
I am 76 yrs old woman not in the best of health. Stroke, uncontrollable hypertension, lymphedema, heart condition and the worst thing I suffer from is in October 2022 I contacted genital shingles which affected 3 parts of my genital area. The shingles went away but I have residual burning pain and have been to many doctors but I was told in some cases the pain will be there always if it doesn’t go away in a year. I have honestly lived with this pain every single day since. I developed scoliosis so bad in my back because of leaning my body to the right as I can’t sit straight up for a long period of time. I had been to PT for over a yr but took a break. I could go on but I don’t want to embarrass myself anymore than I have. I have never posted this on any other site.
So Usually at lent I would give up, cookies, cakes and donuts for the 40 days. Would that suffice as a fast if I did that. I don’t think i could do without liquids. I can give up one meal a day I am sure of that.
Dianne I am so happy you are feeling better and believe it or not your experience has given hope that maybe I will be ok. Tammi you are an angel by Dianne side. I just need a little direction of the fasting. Thank you so much. This was a little uncomfortable to write but everyone is so kind I just said Amen ❤️🕊️🙏
What an ordeal you’ve been through Diane! I will be lifting you up in prayer for some mercy, peace, and healing. I do not recommend giving up liquids for any fast. Especially when you aren’t well. Our bodies need liquids. Fasting however can help with your health in many ways. But most of all it helps you draw closer to God. Many people fast while fervently praying for a specific thing. In your case it could be healing. There are different types of fasts and giving up food groups is definitely one of them. Pray to see what type of fast you should do. I have found that the biggest results come with the biggest sacrifice and effort. Have you tried colloidal silver for the shingles? My husband had horrible psoriasis and it really helped him.
Diane, You want to do intermittent fasting & always drink water and lots of it. I would say giving up any type of sugars & processed foods anytime is definitely a good thing! It sounds like you could use some cleansing (liver & toxin cleansing). The 6 day liver cleanse from Global Healing is amazing and I’m on my 14th cleanse. Like fasting, its a process, but we are capable of healing ourselves 🙂 Never lose hope & no need to be embarrassed. Everyone deals with something one way or another & sometimes letting it be known, leads us to answers to heal ourselves 🙂
