Here are some of the cold hard facts: President Trump spent his time in office tearing down the reforms the Obama Biden Regime pushed. With the 21st Century Policing he ended their three initiatives which were: The Task Force on 21st Century Policing, which issued recommendations for police departments in a May 2015 report. The use of consent decrees to get police departments to enact changes regarding constitutional rights violations. And limits on the transfer of military weapons to police departments.
At the time, a mis and dis info fact checker, David Alan Sklansky, professor of law and faculty co-director of the Stanford Criminal Justice Center, called Trump’s claim baseless and flat-out false, claiming that those three initiatives that Trump would cite were, quote: “All three of those were significant steps taken to address problems with American policing including but not limited to the use of force and the issue of race in policing.”
Well, by now we all know how they lie to our faces and give us their poison while they are claiming it’s medicine.
The truth is President Trump made a full-blown effort to undo the progress the Obama Regime had made, even in spite of all the treasonous actions hitting him left and right like Cross fire Hurricane.
The truth is, the Trump administration limited the use of consent decrees and rolled back Obama’s restrictions on the transfer of military equipment to local police departments.
Trump also ended Obama’s “Consent Decrees” that in a Jan. 5, 2017, exit memo by then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch said the DOJ launched 23 such investigations under Obama and “is now enforcing 17 agreements with law enforcement agencies across the country, including 14 consent decrees.” Those investigations focused on the Ferguson Police Department, as well as agencies in Baltimore, Chicago and other cities. “Consent decrees were a very important initiative to try to bring systemic change to police departments,” addressing all forms of policing including use of force. The Obama administration “launched more of these investigations than any previous administration.”
But the Trump administration under then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions, significantly scaled back that effort. On the day Obama left office, then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions “signed a memo detailing the narrow circumstances under which DOJ can enter into a consent decree. Since President Trump took office, the Justice Department has publicly announced only one pattern-or-practice investigation into a police department.”
NOTE: Obama also signed an executive order to create a working group to limit surplus military equipment and supplies that are provided for free to state and local law enforcement agencies under what’s called the 1033 program. On Aug. 28, 2017, Trump issued an executive order rescinding Obama’s 1033 program.
It is very clear that we would be in a totalitarian box right now if President Trump had not won the election in 2016, 2020, and 2024. Everything the Dems and far left are shouting Trump is doing, is actually what they have done and Trump STOPPED! ICE IS DOING ITS JOB, the police are doing their job AND THERE IS NO INTERPOL INVOLVED!
PRESIDENT TRUMP IS THWARTING OFF THEIR COLOR REVOLUTION AND NOW IT LOOKS MORE LIKE A BUNCH OF CRYING BRATS THAT NEED A NAP! As they get hauled away by the military for riot crimes, which are not constitutional.
