No sooner had the Pope departed back to Rome, and the day before 40 evangelical pastors were to pray over Trump, had Obama taken to the podium to deliver his “watch out you dang Christians – gay rights are here to stay – get over it” speech.
Obama somehow felt the need to warn Christians at a Democratic National Committee-sponsored event – the “LGBT Gala” in New York City that their religious freedom means nothing in the face of gay rights. Apparently, Christian morals and values aren’t welcomed in his new rearrangement of what’s good for America.
Obama sternly addressed those attending, “We affirm that we cherish our religious freedom and are profoundly respectful of religious traditions, but we also have to say clearly that our religious freedom doesn’t grant us the freedom to deny our fellow Americans their constitutional rights.”
Well excuse me Mr. President but if you are referring to gay marriage and sodomy, it wasn’t clearly pointed out in the constitution. There was no need for the founding fathers to point out specifically a natural order of marriage that from the beginning of time was the law of the land. To do so would have been a gross redundancy. Might I remind you that it was five attorneys who usurped that conscience and natural law. A natural law so innately instinctive that even secluded, so called uncivilized, non Christian tribes in the jungles and rain forests have even followed.
That being said, every person under the sun has the right to use their self-will to do what ever they darn well please. That is the way God designed it. Each is free to serve the master they so desire. Christians serve the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and call on the promises given to Abraham and fulfilled through the coming of the Son of God, Jesus the Christ.
The constitution allows for all in America to have religious rights. No where does it dictate that a lopsided disrespect assertion or rather a pick and choose of who’s individual rights can and will be bent in half in order to force another to bake a cake, or issue a marriage license against one’s belief. Nor does it issue the unheard of right for a president to rally the people against the people. This act in and of itself is deplorable.
According to an article in Breitbart, Obama scolded and blamed the Republican party and their candidates for many bad things regarding their religious beliefs. He ended with what appeared to be a warning to Christians everywhere and what sounded like a promise that their religious liberty would not be recognized under his rule. Obama called for the LGBT community to remain vigilant and assured them he would continue to fight for “progress.” Whatever that meant?
This leaves me with a serious question – has the middle east persecution of Christians been rerouted to home base? Especially since Putin has taken over in Syria to end the ISIS Christian beheadings and stop their savage organ eating of livers and hearts. It appears the war against Christians has now officially been declared on the home front. What does it sound like to you?
