It seems the GOP is taking a closer look at little Marco Rubio’s citizenship qualifications to run for president after receiving a petition of over 30,000 signatures for them to take a closer look.
What will they decide? Time will tell. We do know he is their little gang of 8 darling.

1: one that is born on US soil. Or a soil under the jurisdiction of the US.
this eliminates on born in CANADA?? LIKE CRUZ. also eliminates John McCain, there was a little dirty negotiating going on when he ran with Hillary helping him so, he wasn’t really eligible he was born in the Panama Canal zone and bot on base and some bases or most are not UNDERSTAND the jurisdiction of US. Hecwas born in a hospital il Panama.
2. He or she has to be at least 35 yrs of age.
3. He or she has to be born to parents ALREADY US citizens.
Cruz had one parent… his mother who was a citizen. That makes Mr Cruz a “NATURALIZED”citizen like me…. I can’t become president my kids could both I and their father were citizens,at time of their birth.
Neither were Rubio’s parents citizens at time of his birth. They became citizens about 4 years after. This us what tgey taught us in the citizenship classes tgat we took to become American citizens. Did the instructors and those tgat wrote the training books write the wrong thing? Was my History teacher wrong??

It is not just Rubio! Cruz, Jindal and Santorum fail to meat the requirement of being natural born. Obama Romney and McCain also failed to meet that requirement. What are the odds against this being a coincidence. Seven in eight years who are not qualified for the office all seeking the office of president when in the preceding 230 years only one is suspected of not being qualified. There have been in the past fifty years those denied placement on the ballot because they were not natural born clearly displaying knowledge of the requirement by election officials.

I believe McCain qualified because he was born on US soil (on a US military base).
McCain was born off base.

Were you to actually research John McCain you would find he was actually born in a civilian hospital and not on a military base. The hospital he was supposed to have been born in wasn’t even built yet when McCain was born. John is a “Natural Born Citizen” but not because of where he was born but because both of his parents were American Citizens who were able to have their son eligible to run for President under existing laws.
The only reason that either member of the Uniparty (Dem/Rep) refuses to identify Cruz, Jindal, and Rubio as ineligible POTUS candidates is that this will conclude that B. HUSSEIN Obama is an ineligible POTUS and usurper. The net effect would be a treason trial with 535 Congress critters, nine Supreme justices, and all of the Obama regime as defendants.
I don’t think RadarScope is aware of who it is that prosecutes treason in the United States. Its the Attorney General of the United States. That person is currently Loretta Lynch, nominated by Barack Hussein Obama, II and confirmed by the United States Senate.
There is a difference, in terms of the office of the President, between a citizen and a natural born citizen. The question is not whether Rubio is a citizen, clearly he is. The question is whether, for the office of the Presidency, does he qualify as a natural born citizen. This is mentioned in the Constitution, and since his parents filed their naturalization papers AFTER he was born here, I think he is the definition of “anchor baby.” It is far better to get this close scrutiny now before the general, because the democrats sure will look into this and bring it out big time if Rubio is on the GOP ticket.
Please provide a source for the claim that the GOP is investigating Rubio’s eligibility. This article appears to be completely fabricated as are most Birther claims.

Natural Born Citizen…Born on US Soil to Citizen parents….SImple as that!
The definition of natural born citizen used in the US constitution stems from Aristotle through Vattel in Vattels “law of nations”.
To be a natural born citizen the child must be born on the soil of the nation it’s parents are citizens of.
This is natural law it can not be modified or changed by man. This natural law is recognized and accepted world wide.
If you are born of US citizens, yes you are a citizen. I do think we all know this. But the term “natural born citizen” in terms of the office of the President is written in the Constitution specifically for the requirements to be President. It does not mean @jojo, “born on US soil to US citizens- simple as that.

You now understand that for Natural Born Citizen to be:
1) Born to two US Citizens
2) Born on US soil.
Barack Hussein Obama, Jr was born to Barack Hussein Obama Sr holding the citizenship NOT of the United States but that of Britain, through Kenya which did not gain it’s independence until after the birth of Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.
Barack Hussein Obama, Jr IS NOT Constitutionally qualified for the office of POTUS and MUST be arrested for the crime of USURPING the office of POTUS!!!

A child born abroad to a U.S. Citizen is still a Citizen. The only stipulation, is in order to pass that citizenship on, they must fulfill the requirements of the law. My child was born in Mexico. He has a U.S. Consular Report of Birth Abroad as a Birth Certificate. In order for him to pass this on to his children (if they were to be born in a foreign country, he must live in the U.S. consecutively for 1 year after the age of 14. If he does not, he is still a citizen, just his children would not be eligible for citizenship.
But illegal’s children are.. That’s messed up!
Tiffany, the 14th amendment was intended (by the author) to be referring to people that come under the jurisdiction of the United States, not people who illegally enter the United States as they are not under the jurisdiction of the United States for the purposes of this amendment. This amendment was put in place to cover the blacks that were freed from slavery to grant them US Citizenship status.
Exactly! and when you read the 14th amendment, it clearly says that those who enter, ie. illegally cross the border, are “under the jurisdiction” of their home country. So they do not become citizens just by coming here, or by being born on this side of the border to parents who are here illegally.
Citizen. But NOT an natural born citizen. Your child was made a citizen by an act of law, legislation passed by congress. The Constitution grants congress the power to legislate “an uniform rule of naturalization” only. Congress has no constitutional authority to confer natural born citizenship on anyone.
There is a difference between a US Citizen (naturalized) and one that is natural born. Your son born in Mexico is ONLY a US Citizen, he is not however a natural born citizen. He can run for any office EXCEPT for POTUS. Natural Born Citizen was defined in the Nationality Act of 1790.
