  1. Well, hello there, Raskat11. Looks like you missed us and you’re back to do your usual. Have a peaceful day!

  2. Why not just keep the LORD’S Feast days and do away with the pagan days? Why provoke our master? You mean he don’t mind how you worship him? He knows our hearts?
Foolish and blasphemous! My Creator, King and Saviour is not a liar, he change not. Repent! Study his word and Live as our Saviour showed us, the very least we should do is to try and not do as the heathen.

  3. Christmas is another pagan tradition that Christianity has adopted. You can read its complete history in any encyclopedia. The shepherds tending their flocks by night would have been in the spring/summertime. Winter rains in the region is what brings about green grass in the spring. By the end of summer and early autumn, the grass is dry and if tall enough usually cut as hay for winter forage. During the winter months, sheep and goats were kept in lower rooms, barns, or caves. Although a Christmas tree is found in Jer. 10:1-4, man has philosophized with various doctrines a humanistic defense of the Christmas tradition, but none are scriptural. It is difficult for man to change generations of tradition. But the Lord will! (Is. 66:23)

If Christ really wanted us to celebrate his birthday, the scriptures would give us a clear clue as to when he was born. The most accepted year is 5 BC. What was the month and date? Have you ever searched for something while it was right under your nose the entire time? Luke begins his first letter with the parents of John the Baptist. (1:5-25) Elisabeth conceived and hid herself five months; then, Luke directs his narrative to Mary. Verse 26 begins with the angel Gabriel going to Nazareth in the sixth month. This is a sacred calendar month, not the sixth month of Elisabeth’s pregnancy, which is a fact stated in verse 36. Elisabeth’s sixth month of pregnancy ironically happened to be in the sixth month of the sacred calendar when Gabriel visited Mary! Carefully read the first chapter of Luke. He wrote to a friend who was a high official of Rome and would not have duplicated the same fact in such as a confusing manner most preachers preach. (Lk. 1:1-4)

The sixth month of the sacred calendar is Elud (Aug. – Sept.) When Mary had come to full term nine months later, Jesus was born in the third month of Sivan (May – June) the following year. (Lk. 2:5-7) On the eighth day, after purification of separation, he was brought to the local Levitical priest, circumcised and named. (Lk. 2:21-23; Lev. 12:2-7) The festival of Pentecost (Firstfruits or Weeks) is in the month of Sivan. (Lev. 23:10-22) Was Jesus was born on Pentecost? Christ is the Firstfruits of salvation! (1 Cor. 15:20-23) Most likely, Jesus was born seven days prior to Pentecost just as he ascended to heaven seven days prior to Pentecost. Was he circumcised on the annual Sabbath of Pentecost? (Jn. 7:21-23) Let’s do the math in Lev. 23:15-18, Lk. 24:46-53; Acts 1:3-5 and 2:1. Pentecost counts seven Sabbaths after Passover and adds one day. [7 x 7 + 1 = 50] Christ was crucified on a Wednesday late afternoon, in the grave three whole days, and then resurrected on a Saturday (Sabbath) late afternoon. He ascended to heaven after spending forty days with the disciples. Pentecost was not many days hence. The counting of seven Sabbaths following Christ’s crucifixion on a Wednesday (Passover) began three days later – Saturday, which was the day he arose and the first Sabbath following Passover. [3 + 40 + 7 = 50]

Sivan (May – June) is about the middle of our solar year because the summer solstice is June 21. Jesus was born sometime in the late spring 5 BC. Mathematically, his birth date would be between 5.25 BC and 5.5 BC. Recall the math in Chapter VI in the Seventy Weeks Prophecy? Nisan is the first and Sivan the third month on the sacred calendar, a lunar type, which can vary as much as 28 days with today’s solar calendar. Jesus was crucified one to four months short of his 34th birthday. [30 (yrs. old when He was baptized) + 3.5 (yrs. of ministry) = 33.5]

John the Baptist was born late Chislev (Nov – Dec). Should we start celebrating his birthday on the 25th of December? [If so, say Merry John-the-baptist-mas] You could research the year 5 BC, cross reference the Jewish lunar to the Julian solar,  correct it by the Gregorian and find Jesus’ birthday on today’s calendar. Should we bake him a cake and sing happy birthday?

Just in case you may be interested in the Day when Jesus Christ was Born in the flesh in 5 BC, you will have to trust in something the Lord said in John 7:21-23. This is the only place in the Gospels that circumcision was used in defense of some of the things He did on His Sabbath Day. The Religious Right of today are not any different from those of yesteryears. Jesus rebuked them for their hypocrisy, doctrines, and traditions on many things throughout the Gospels; however, in this case I believe He used a very personal experience of Biblical proportions.

Jesus was born in the mid to late spring of the year. Jesus said that He was Lord, even of the Sabbath Day. It would be logical that He would enter this world on the same Sabbath Day that He exited it, which would be His Ascension Day. According to the Biblical Circumcision Law (Leviticus 12:1-4), Jesus would have been born eight days prior to His circumcision. The Sabbath can be either the weekly or one of the annual seven. If Jesus would have returned to the Father on the same Sabbath Day as He was born, the only Sabbath Day that His circumcision could consistently be on from year to year is Pentecost, the third annual Sabbath of the year and always on the first day of the week and only Biblical Sabbath on a Sunday.

Jesus’ Birth day would be the Sabbath Day eight days prior to His circumcision. He ascended to His Father eight days prior to Pentecost. Therefore, His Birth Day would be consistently eight days prior to Pentecost from year to year. This year, Pentecost is May 31, 2020. Carefully read Lev. 23:5-6 and 15-16. This year Jesus’ Birth Day would be May 23rd and it will fall on the sixth complete Sabbath after Passover which is eight days before Pentecost (the one and only annual Sabbath on a Sunday) every year for all eternity. Read Lev. 12:1-4, Luke 2:21-24 and Acts 1:1-5 and do the Math! [7 + 33 = 40] Forty is a significate number in scripture!

I hear Christians say that Christmas should be every day! I think and believe we should keep the Lord’s birthday every week! It is His weekly Sabbath and Commandment! Just something else to think about. If you truly love the Lord, prove it! (John 14:15, 21, 15:10, Matt 5:19, 19:17, Rev. 12:17, 14:12, 22:14 1 John 5:2-3, 2 John 6)

    LOLGB+

      1. Does it really matter the date? I love Christmas 🎄 and it’s a happy celebration of the birthday and birth of Jesus, the Savior. I grew up with the baby Jesus bringing my brother and I gifts midnight Christmas Eve. Baby Jesus figurine was placed in his manger in the crèche under our real Christmas tree at midnight Christmas Eve.

The only thing that matters is that Christ came into the world as our hope and Redeemer. Amen

  4. I am having attention issues. Wish you had a truncated version of some of your articles. I find some of them just a little long. And currently I avoid them because of this. I feel they could be foot noted with your facts then we can go to those foot notes if we want? I hope your research is thorough enough to have facts foot noted.

    1. Lots and lots of people have special needs and benefit from accommodations. I saw the down votes on your post, Pauline, and just wanted to say that I really hope people don’t take your request as some personal insult to Dianne. It’s good to see that you advocate for yourself. And besides, it doesn’t hurt to ask, right? Even if we don’t get what we ask for, it’s important to speak up for yourself and seek the accommodations that best meet our needs. 😊.

    2. Pauline,
I understand your request, I sometimes find it difficult to go from scripture to text of message and maintain focus, but I have begun following someone on You tube, who produces videos that help with my attention deficit. It’s called “Parable of the vineyard”, and Ms Marshall posted one of his videos on Ezekiel just recently. He has a whole series on following the feast days.

  5. Thank you, Dianne, for this truth-telling post. Messiah gives the angels for the respective seven churches warnings the churches are to heed: “He that hath an ear, let him hear what The Spirit saith unto the churches.” (Rev. 2:7, 11, 17, 29; 3:6, 13, 22.) . . . Today, we need to think on those words of Messiah too. Your post is a valuable resource. Thank you for all the Light you bring.

  6. I don’t doubt what you’re saying here, particularly about Christianity incorporating a number of pagan festivals and perhaps their practices as well. The bit about pagan festivals is something I learned in primary school, actually, and it was presented as something that was done to help pagans adapt more easily to Christianity. That may be true or it may be a falsehood – I really don’t know.

However… Even if Christmas and Easter have their roots in paganism, I daresay that the majority of Christians, myself included, don’t even give paganism a passing thought when we are celebrating the birth of our Saviour at Christmas or His triumph over the grave on Easter Sunday. Maybe the Devil did intend for his paganism to corrupt our Joy in Christ – but our God is a master of turning the Devil’s schemes right back on him!

For me and my family – we see Christmas and Easter as belonging to the LORD, regardless of what they may have been once. I thank you for telling us more about the pagan roots so we can be wary of snares, but in our souls, we celebrate what God has done for us on those days.

I don’t mean to say that it’s a good thing that Christianity has adopted pagan festivals and rites – but I truly believe that our Lord has brought good out of the evil that the Devil sought to bring upon us, His Church. Even the Christmas trees – they truly bring out the wonder of the season and put smiles on children’s faces. I can’t imagine our Lord would disapprove of making little ones all over the globe so happy.

    1. I do full well understand what you are expressing, and the Lord judges the heart and he knows our intent. Everything God has done has been mocked and twisted in an attempt to lead man kind astray. But it has backfired in the devils face.

    2. They say it is easier to deceive someone than to convince someone they’ve already been deceived.

      1. I am not denying that Satan has been able to creep into the Church herself over the centuries. His specialty is deceit.

What I am saying is that, ‘Fine, he got us. He snuck pagan festivals into the Church. That means they’re ours now; we can reconsecrate those festivals to the Lord.’

That doesn’t mean we forget the history; we need to remember the Devil’s tricks so we can be on watch in the future. But I refuse to let the Devil taint any more than he already has. Christmas and Easter, they’re ours now. I choose to dedicate them to the LORD and His Son – I choose to let my desire to bring praise and glory to God be greater than the Devil’s schemes.

If you choose to view me as a deluded fool for doing so, that’s your choice. I know what’s in my heart – and so does my Lord and Savior.

        God Bless, Kulon.

        1. Amen, Sunstarunicorn.. I totally get what you are saying. We will never hand over our authority to the devil on a silver platter…nor our opportunities to give honor and praise to the Lord. Merchants are an example of the ones guilty of diluting these Christ-centered celebrations. They continue to promote the pagan traditions and press all of us to buy, spend and focus on everything EXCEPT Christ’s birth and resurrection. Thanks for speaking out! May Jesus bless you! 🙏💯😊

          1. Sunstarunicorn and DebbyJBalk, trust me when I first told my family about this years ago they almost ran me out of the family. I was called many things. I told them all, it is what happened. I am not saying not to give glory to the Lord on a day all have set aside to do so, just what the santa clause and the Baal (which I didn’t go into here) and has nothing to do with our Lord and our celebrating His birth. Like Deb said, it is not a day of merchandising it is a day to celebrate the birth of our Lord publicly together. Not a day for tackling someone in walmart for the last toy of its kind. Celebrate the Lord every day and do good for others always. But I see that one day is a witness to others and it brings Glory to the Lord. My family knows I don’t do bunnys and eggs. That has nothing to do with my Lord at all. I do rejoice on the Lord’s ressurection day. It is hard to come out of her my people on this one, when we don’t know for sure where to go?

In my answers in seeking this question, I have been shown what to do for me. It’s a day of praise of His Birth and a day of praise of his resurrection.

            1. I enjoy mailing beautiful 😻 Christmas & Easter cards to family & friends. A variety of religious and kind fun messages of cards is how I spend my money. Only spend money on meaningful gifts. I’m old school Catholic and I don’t apologize for it. Yeah, yeah who cares about the paganism.

The aclu and atheists cause enough damage.

Celebrate the joyous days of Christ!

    3. AMEN!

      ✝️💜🐈😻🐈‍⬛🐾❤️🌺🌸🌷🌻🐥🐑🐁🐐🦔🐓🐠🦆🐇🐻🦢🐄🦒🐘🐄🇺🇸🌞

  7. Another great article Ms. Marshall!!
Christmas is a pagan ritualistic holiday. Once Christians see this, the rest of the deception begins to unveil!

  8. You’re right about the new false flag prophecies. The biggest one to date is creating a state of Israel in 1948. That’s such a joke, but the sad part is that people really believe it.

      1. So everything else is a false flag prophecy except for the nation of Israel? Stop cherry picking prophecies because they are the synagogue of Satan and that’s a fact.

      2. The same cabal and elites who you paint as villians, are the ones behind establishing the state of Israel. So please think about that, and use logical thinking and stop responding with your emotions. Israel is a False Flag Prophecies. I guess you’re going to banned me again from commenting because my views are different from yours. Tbh idk care if you do have a blessed day.
