  1. The bungee looks really interesting and challenging! I workout with a rebounder and I do love it! Some workouts can really challenge me yet I feel great afterwards. Anyway, that’s as much as I can fly in the air for now🙂

  2. I am super excited to try out the bungee for working out in my home gym. My husband wanted to buy me something special for my 50th birthday and I told him all I wanted was to be able to workout again. And, since time is hard to find with the busy farm, I decided to add one of Patty’s bungees to my gym. Not only will it be super fun to fly on the bungee, I will be able to get a good workout in whatever time I can carve out of my day. I taught dance fitness for 10 years and along the way did every workout I could find. To call me a gym junkie would have been an understatement. I found myself through working out and learned that I could do things with my body that I never thought I could. I loved to see how far I could push myself and found that the sky was the limit and with training I could learn to do almost anything. My home gym evolved from a dance studio to a fully stocked weight training gym so that I could have people over to work out with me. Somewhere along the line I added in MMA and boxing to try to have something to entice the hubs to join me. I then developed my own style of workouts that combined dancing and sparing with various boxing bags that included weights and core floor work in some of the “rest rounds” making my own personal HIIT (high intensity interval training) workout. Working out was such a part of my life that I would dedicate most mornings to it and couldn’t imagine starting a day without being drenched in sweat. When we moved to the farm I was able to set up my gym in the biggest studio I have ever had and loved being able to really move around the studio as I worked out. I am using past tense when I talk about this because my daily workout routine have taken a back seat for these past 8 months. What was once such a vital part of my life is now something I long for. Once we got all the farm animals I found it harder to fit in ‘me time’ and before I knew it my gym became the baby chicken nursery. At first this wasn’t a problem because they liked the music and I liked them having something different than just a silent room. I quickly learned how much dust the wood chips from their bedding made and before I knew it everything in my gym was covered in dust. There is so much dust that it isn’t safe to workout in there until it’s cleaned out. I ended up rising 2 batches of egg layers and a huge batch of meat chickens in these past months and finally kicked out the last batch on my birthday 2 weeks ago. We had a deep freeze that kept us busy (you wouldn’t believe how much work cold weather makes for the farm!) and some early arrivals of new lambs that kept us from cleaning my gym. But, today is the day! This is the first day since the arrival of my new bungee that I will be able to clean my gym. The hubs has to set up the bracer for the bungee to clip to and I should be flying by the end of the week. I think the bungee is the perfect next step to my dance fighting workout routine. I can’t wait to see how I can do a spin roundhouse kick with the bungee! Thank you Dianne for showing us the bungee workout because I can’t imagine a better birthday present!

    1. Tammi, I can’t wait for your feedback on how fast you get your runners high on the bungee, but I hope you still have chickens for eggs!! You have been so dedicated to your farm and all that hard work is strength and endurance training! So you are definitely in shape for anything!!!!!! Smile.
