The mysteries of the Biblical prophets God sent as watchmen with divine prophecy is continuing to unfold according to God’s divine plan minute, by minute.
Have you ever thought on a deep level about how the world is set up to kill, steal and destroy and why some believe that’s all okay for the “greater good of all”? That “all” being some sort of weird group? A group that can’t tell you what they’re really doing, or humanity will never let them do it? I mean a deep level where you look at everything honestly? It appears to always go back to good and evil and the one who rules this world through all the evil spirits who enter into flesh bodies to take over, and that ruler has been called by many names, but is best known as the devil, Satan, the Dragon, and Lucifer.
In a nutshell, demonic spirits enter into a person and little by little take over the reasoning of the flesh victim’s mind and becomes it’s mouthpiece to lure others into schemes that are demonically thought up inside the intellect and go against what God has commanded for good and the good of others. These types of thoughts are the seeds that grow into “kill, steal and destroy” schemes. Often the type where if caught are illegal, if not caught they lead to more and more illegal, unfruitful, corrupt actions that harm not only their victims, but also themselves and those around them.

Today we are flooded with films, mini- series, and programs that show a thousand ways the world is out of control and how corruption, along with subliminal messages the sheer act of watching it has on our minds. They mostly seem to echo the motto “do unto others before they do unto you”, which is now a normal way of life for so many. The central casting themes mimic today’s society and appear to give a green light of approval that this is the new normal, along with this is how it is and has been done throughout the ages. Making light of the social cataclysm it has had on humanity affecting all classes, and cultures, with an emphasis on a very self- serving, dog eat dog present and many doom and gloom scenarios for the future.
I recently listened to a video reading of the prophet Ezekiel that was spoken in a way where it drew me into it, as though Ezekiel was right there telling me his vision. It was as though I were seated before him intensely listening to what he said, as though he was personally speaking to me and sharing every truth. Perhaps it was the Holy Spirit drawing me in and saying, “Listen and learn.”?
All of a sudden, Ezekiel’s visions took on a different feel and different depth of perception. The parables came to life in a way I had never heard them before.
In listening, it was as though Ezekiel himself were telling me the story of all that shall take place until the end of the final age when God has had his fill of all the rebellious people. As I said before, it felt as though I was sitting across from him listening as though he were saying – “This is not new, our ancestors did it and it never fared well for any generation who has done such wickedness.” This got me pulling my Bible out, as the video went too fast, and I wanted to ponder on what it was bringing to mind as it had me connecting many things from other scriptures. Has that ever happened to you?
You can listen to the video below.
Every time I read the book of Ezekiel there are parts of it that take on a deeper meaning as it is a prophecy foretelling all things up to the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven and weaves from Ezekiel’s present day to the days of the Garden of Eden and the King of Tyre, to the fall of man, the Glory of God, and the prophetic vision of what is to come upon the earth, all the way to the end of the world ruled by Satan.
Ezekiel reveals that Babylon falls many times and rebuilds itself through different kings. It truly is a rinse and repeat pattern in Satan’s desire to rule the world and wipe out all who serve God. Lucifer, Satan, the devil dragon, Prince of the Power of the Air, King of Egypt, King of Tyre, whatever name you give him, he is the ruler of this world, and he desires to be worshipped as a god. But he is not God, nor shall he ever be. He is not a soul giver; he is a soul snatcher. He and his evil demonic hoards tempt the flesh and enter into the minds and bodies of people to get them to do his worldly bidding and all the opposite of what God has said to do.

It appears that many scholars and philosophers miss a lot of depth to the words in scripture, by using intellect with memorized points of other scholars and theologians as a baseline of which to add their own intellectualized opinions to. They appear to enjoy debating scholarly opinions rather than calling on the Holy Spirit to help them discern the interpretations. Rarely have I (if ever?) heard a scholarly discussion where the professor speaks of what the Holy Spirit showed them. Have you?

As I said in a previous blog, conspiracy theories are coming out as truth and facts faster and faster like labor pains. Well, in a natural birth, a woman can be in labor for hours or for days, and a day with the Lord is as a thousand years, so we truly don’t know how long we will be in this last day labor pain stage. We do know the pains will worsen as the birthing draws nearer.
Ezekiel tells us he was called to be a watchman and how that happened. So in this study on the book of Ezekiel, let us read with the intent to be thought provoking. Let each one ask the Holy Spirit to show you what the watchman Ezekiel is saying to you, for your life, your generation, where you are today. So you will understand the mysteries in this reading and how they might apply in this unusual time? So your faith will grow and your service to God will be one of love from your heart, also serving others as Jesus commanded us to do. For the book of Ezekiel is filled with warnings to those who follow the way of wickedness against God’s people. There are warnings of false shepherds and false prophets and how God allows certain evils and why. The book tells us God’s children are sealed by Him and through their faith they are shielded from the wrath.
Noah, Daniel and Job – These three men?
One of the scriptures that stood out to me was the one speaking of “Noah, Daniel, and Job”, that God referred to as “these three men”. It took me back to Genesis when the Angel of the Lord visited Abraham before he went to destroy Sodom and Abraham asked him what if there are 50 righteous people there would he spare it? From there Abraham bargained God down to sparing Sodom if only ten righteous people could be found there. There were not ten to be found, and so it was destroyed, but Lot, his wife and two daughters were led out. The husbands of the daughters refused to go. Lot’s wife looked back (indicating she was longing for it and turned into a pillar of salt. In the end there were three saved. Lot, and his two daughters. These three were led out, unharmed through faith, but not in a “super bubble”, they left in haste as they were guided to do.
In Ezekiel chapter 14 God tells Ezekiel he will not spare any city for “these three men”. Meaning righteous men like Noah, Daniel, and Job who serve God. God says he will destroy the city, but he will NOT HARM “these three men”. Only they would be spared for their own righteousness, not the entire city.
Ezekiel 14:20 “20 Though Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as I live, saith the Lord God, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.”
In Ezekiel 9, he explains that God will destroy the cities, but not the righteous. He will place a seal(mark) on the righteous. The same as it states in Revelation.
Ezekiel 9:3-4 “3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer’s inkhorn by his side; 4 And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.”
Revelation 7:3, “3Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
Mysteries are being unveiled right before our eyes!
Many are so into A.I. and all sorts of global propaganda, that it is easy to focus on the chaos through man’s eyes and not look at the world chaos through the eyes of God.
In Ezekiel Chapter 1, we have what appears to be an amazing arrival of the presence of the Lord God, and Ezekiel describes this in allegorical terms, and parables. It is a vision of prophecy that leaves us full of questions still today, as we search the meaning out.
The description given by Ezekiel of his heavenly encounter has baffled Bible scholars, and Theologians resulting in all sorts of their own interpretations. Yet, Ezekiel is clear that the wheels within wheels, describe the glory of the appearance of the Lord.
Ezekiel is given a roll (scroll) filled with words to eat, that was sweet in his mouth and bitter in his belly. He is instructed to go on very hard mission and tell the house of Israel what God has said he will do if they do not repent and return to Him, but God assures Ezekiel not to fear for He shall be with him. Then as the spirit takes him up he hears a voice of great rushing praising saying “Blessed be the glory of the Lord from this place.” Ezekiel describes being taken up as in an out of body experience and proclaims this taking up was with the hand of the Lord upon him.
In Ezekiel 1:4 he describes a whirlwind that came out of the north as a great cloud and fire infolding itself and a brightness the color of amber in the midst of the fire. “4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire.”

Ezekiel 1:24-26, “24 And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings. 25 And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.26 And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.
This appears to be a heavenly escort of the Lord, as Ezekiel describes it as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech from the firmament over their heads when they (the heavenly escort) stood and let down their wings. He describes this escort in Chapter 1:4- 5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.6 And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
7 And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf’s foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass. 8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings. 9 Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward. 10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
11 Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.
12 And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went. 13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.
14 And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning. 15 Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces. 16 The appearance of the wheels and their work unto was like the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
17 When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went. 18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four. 19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
20 Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. 21 When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. 22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.
23 And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.
24 And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings. 25 And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings. 26 And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.
27 And I saw as the color of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about. 28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.
The living creatures are described as guardians of the divine glory of the throne of God and appear to be the highest level of angelic representatives of God’s divine government.
The same living creatures are described by John in the Book of Revelation, who was also taken up in the spirit and told to write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; Rev. 1:19.
Compare the vision described by John in Revelation 4:5-11 with Ezekiel’s in chapter 1, both of the Worship of the Creator God…
Revelation 4:1-11,”1After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. 3And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. 4And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
5And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thundering’s and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. 6And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. 7And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. 8And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. 9And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, 10The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
This description of the glory of God given to Ezekiel also matches the heavenly escort of the Lord leading Moses and the Hebrews out of Egypt.

Recall the Lord in the Cloud by day and pillar of Fire by night to light the way, and the Pillar of fire that stood in the path of Pharoah’s army holding them back as the Red sea was parted for Moses and the Hebrews crossed. This heavenly escort of the Lord was with them through their journey. Exodus 13:21-22 21And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: 22He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.
So from the very beginning, Ezekiel describes the Glory of God and reveals a few more mysterious aspects of the fire and cloud within this glory, the same Glory of the Lord that appeared to Moses and the Hebrews that went before them to lead them to the promised land. The same glory that spoke to the people above the tabernacle that scared them all who heard the powerful voice and presence of God.
Exodus 20:18-21 18 Now all the people witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off. 19 Then they said to Moses, “You speak with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.”
20 And Moses said to the people, “Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.” 21 So the people stood afar off, but Moses drew near the thick darkness where God was.
The words God spoke to them were His commandments, the same as Moses presented to them written by the finger of God. See Ezekiel 20: 1-17, but what frightened them to trembling and fear was the presence of His Awesome Glory.
God’s Glory appeared as a cloud and fire to guide them through their journey.
Exodus 30:34-38 34Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 35And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 36And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys: 37But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up. 38For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
The same description of the clouds, fire, and the glory of the Throne of God is told in the beginning and in the end.
The same Word has been told by Moses, Ezekiel and John. These three bear the same testimonies to the glory of God. We don’t have to make up different stories to go with different prophets, the scriptures explain what this is. We just have to discern the parables and how they are applied.

The Bible is a living Word and each time we read, we see more clearly. In Part 2 we will go over how Ezekiel is shown all things that shall be from the beginning to the very end of the age and how those cross reference with Revelation right up to the New Jerusalem and the tree of life!
