Governor Greg Abbot has laid out a plan to protect the Texas border and the state of Texas.  He is stopping the unlawful immigration. On June 10, 2021, Texas Governor Greg Abbott held a press conference on border security and introduced measures to crack down on illegal immigration.

Governor Abbott signed the state budget that appropriates more than one billion dollars to increase border security. The Governor also announced that the State of Texas will be taking decisive action to expand the border barrier and pledged to ‘build border barriers’ along the state’s Mexican border and arrest migrants after Biden suspended funding for Trump’s project!

“We have to build a border [wall]. I’ve been down here talking to the people in the Rio Grande Valley and the way they are being overrun is reprehensible.  It’s disastrous what the Biden administration has done.

“The Biden administration has abandoned any pretense of border security, any pretense of enforcing our immigration laws. They’ve laughed it off, just in the exact same way that the vice president laughed it off in her interview the other day, and so it is a joke to the Biden administration.

“They completely don’t care about the border at all, and they try to brush it aside as much as they possibly can. They ignore it. They haven’t come here, they haven’t talked to us, they don’t want to do anything for us. They’re fighting us every step of the way.” Stated Texas Governor Abbot.

He also proclaimed that the Federal Government should pay for the damages caused by the Federal Government’s failure to enforce immigration laws!
