Al-Qahtani was chairman of the board of Al-Salam Holding Company and reportedly held a number of honorary positions as a goodwill ambassador.
The last words he said were about Egyptian President Abdel Fattah. “The dean of men and a man of peace,” said Al-Qahtani, before collapsing and dying.

Sometimes when I study my bible, I know exactly what I want to read. At other times I pray and ask God to show me and just open my bible to where my hand leads. Interestingly, at times after I read your write-up I am led by the Holy Spirit to just open my bible and see where the Holy Spirit leads me and this was one of those times. The following comes from various verses from Psalm 83 which is a Psalm from Asaph, a Levite and one of the leaders for David’s choir.

However, even with that prayer, I also remember that Jesus said brothers would betray brothers, and children would rise up against parents. (Matt 10:21), so when I saw the following quote today from someone named Martin Geddes (a Brit), it was helpful in keeping me focused on moving forward in the truth, regardless of the opposition. —
