Good morning to all. Many are talking of Purim, “The Feast of Lots”, which is a Jewish holiday that commemorates the saving of the Jewish people from Haman, an Achaemenid Persian Empire official who was planning to kill all the Jews, as told in the Holy Bible in the Book of Esther.
It is a moving story of the bravery and faith of one woman who boldly went before the king, knowing it may cost her very life. Esther’s famous words, “If I perish, I perish”, ring out this day as a loud reminder of bravery and the power of fasting and prayer for a nation.
Esther 4:16 16Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.
We The People in America and all the people throughout the world in other nations are at a cross roads of betrayal. The meek are all threatened by those in league who desire a one world pinnacle of tyranny to depopulate humanity, and enslave all nations under their communistic rule. Yet, I believe God has another plan and it is in progress. But, we are no different than the Hebrews at the time of Esther. It is a time for each to put on the full armor of God and join together as one people under God.
The world is shaking and running wild, the most mighty weapon of all is prayer and fasting for God does answer prayers. Pray for all who are persecuted in these trying times, and ask that they find renewed strength, increased faith, and that the Lord send his mighty angels to guard over them all.
