THE KING OF KINGS IS COMING!

All scripture is for edification. But, who decides what scriptures? Man, or the Prophet God annointed to write it?

The book of Enoch prophesied the coming of the Messiah. The one who would avenge the righteous from all the wickedness of those who Lorded over them unjustly. Other than the book of Jude, these words are not in the Cannons of the Bible we were given at the council of Nicaea. In the book of Enoch the Lord comes first to give his life for all the righteous, and the second time he returns to execute judgement…

And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones
To execute judgement upon all,
And to destroy all the ungodly:

And to convict all flesh
Of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed,
And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.

So it seems to be used as a witness, and Enoch gets it right in both messages. Enoch was also taken up into the heavens and met the Son of Man.

1 Enoch Chapter 46:1-2,
There I beheld the Ancient of days whose head was like white wool, and with him another, whose countenance resembled that of a man. His countenance was full of grace, like that of one of the holy angels. Then I inquired of one of the angels, who went with me, and who showed me every secret thing, concerning this Son of man; who he was; whence he was; and why he accompanied the Ancient of days. He answered and said to me, This is the Son of man, to whom righteousness belongs; with whom righteousness has dwealt; and who will reveal all the treasures of that which is concealed: for the Lord of spirits has chosen him; and his portion has surpassed all before the Lord of spirits in everlasting uprightness.

The Ancient of Days, the Serpent in Us – Riksavisen
Daniel’s vision of the description of what the Son of Man and the Ancient of Days looked like was the same as Enoch. Another cross reference of Bible Prophecy.

This Son of Man was the one that the Pharisees were looking to come in all his glory, and they had a specific image of who and what the Messiah was and how he was to appear stuck in their head. They were waiting for the Messiah to come and devour all of their enemies and deliver them from the hands of the Romans. Jesus was not the one they were anticipating to come. They wanted no part of Jesus and were angered at him and sought to ask him all kinds of trick questions to catch him misquoting something. Then one day he told them, “Before Abraham was, I am.” They accused him of blasphemy. Jesus told them they knew not the teachings of Moses. They were blinded to the Son of Man first to come as the lamb of God….and knew not the scriptures. Yet, they sat in the seat of Moses making new laws for everyone. They had grown far away from the law of Moses and knew not that they needed correction.

It appears they only had their minds set on what they themselves had come to believe and not what was written. Their main goal now was to belittle the teachings of Jesus and get rid of his influence. Every chance they got they approached him using key phrases in questions to try and trick Jesus up so they could accuse him of being an imposter even more and turn people against him. Jesus would be bold in his answers to them. He would direct them to scriptures.

John 5:39-47

39Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. 41I receive not honour from men. 42But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. 43I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. 44How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only? 45Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. 46For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. 47But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

At every turn they sought to discredit Jesus, but could not.

Where is this written in the law of Moses? That didn’t seem to make the cut at Nicaea either. But proof of it did resurface in the dead sea scrolls.

A Moses Apocryphon (a)
A Moses Apocryphon (a) scroll is much like the Pentateuch. It gives instructions on how a person claiming to be a prophet should be treated. In column 11 there is a sacrificial ritual. The fragments were located in Cave 4 at Qumran.

A Moses Apocryphon (b)
This text is a re-working of exodus 28:9-12. It deals with the subject of the two stones in the shoulder pieces of the High Priests’ garment. Also, the secular head of the community is discussed. These fragments were found in Cave 4.

Moses Apocryphon (c)
Found in Cave 4 at Qumran, this text tells of Eliab, an elder who curses the Jews who do not observe the Law while Moses was on the mountain with God.

Pseudo-Moses (e)
Pseudo-Moses (e) is undoubtedly related to Jubilees and also, possibly, to the Damascus Document. The text is said to be a divine speech addressed to Moses. The date of this work is possibly 2nd Century BCE, no later than 134-104 BCE.

A Moses (or David) Apocryphon
The three small fragments of A Moses (or David) Apocryphon found in Cave 4 deal with a historical rendition of an unknown speaker. Og, King of Bashan is the only actual name mentioned in the text.

Finally the day came for the Feast of the Passover and Jesus made his triumphant entry into the city. This had to irritate the high priests and pharisees even further.

They plotted against him and then when he drove the merchants out of the temple…they were done with him. Judas betrayed him for 30 pieces of silver and the false witnesses lied about him. They finally shouted to let his blood be on their hands and their childrens hands. So they finally got what they wanted and Jesus was condemned and crucified on the cross. Thus, fulfilling prophecy that those who condemned him had no idea of. They knew not the scriptures because they were too busy sitting in the seat of Moses writing their own new laws and dogma.

The Lord rose from the grave on the third day and ascended to the father. He descended into hell and broke down the gates and freed the righteous. The victory over death was completed. And now all who believe and repent of their sins, accepting Jesus as their saviour, through the Grace of God have eternal life.

Now, those who believe are to follow the way of Jesus and share his love and the way to him with others. Yet, the commandments of God are still to be followed, but the Lord simplified them by putting them into two.

Mathew 22: 37-40 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

So, in the search for truth, we are of the generation that has been given the knowledge of scriptures that were hidden, forbidden, or lost. Some of these have surfaced in the Dead Sea Scrolls and many are blessed who have accepted the truths they contain. Many want nothing to do with them. Yet, many of these same books were cherished by the prophets and passed down to each new generation. Enoch opens up in the very first sentence saying that these words are written for the generation that will be alive when the Lord returns. Today, many Bible Scholars continue to decipher the fragments of the scrolls just to find the truths they contain. Are they inspired or are they fools? I choose to see them as inspired by God to search for the truths, for it is a tedious task and one that at the end reveals a pearl of great price.

It took more than 12 months for researchers to reconstruct 60 tiny fragments of a scroll originally found in the Qumran caves decades ago – the smallest one measuring only 0.155 square inches.

This book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth. but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
 – Joshua 1:8 (ESV)

Therefore, be very strong to keep and to do all that is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, turning aside from it neither to the right hand nor to the left, – Joshua 23:6 (ESV)

The research with the Dead Sea Scrolls also found that the 364 day calendar was perfect, and this is the calendar found in the book of Enoch.

ONE OF LAST REMAINING DEAD SEA SCROLLS DECIPHERED

This sect followed a 364-day calendar which was a tempestuous topic of debate in the Second Temple Period. The 364-day calendar is said to be “perfect”, the researchers shared, “Because this number can be divided into four and seven, special occasions always fall on the same day.”

Ratson and Ben-Dov explained that Judaism today follows a Lunar calendar. This “requires a large number of human decisions. People must look at the stars and moon and report their observations, and someone must be empowered to decide on the new month and the application of leap years.”

They continued in a joint statement why the 364-day calendar was used, “This avoids the need to decide. For example, what happens when a particular occasion falls on the Sabbath, as often happens in the Lunar calendar.” Read full article here: https://patternsofevidence.com/2018/02/02/one-of-the-last-remaining-dead-sea-scrolls-deciphered/

Palm Sunday 2021 date: Today is Palm Sunday - so what is it, what does it mean? | Express.co.uk

So as we celebrate Palm Sunday in remembrance of our Lord’s Palm Sunday in 2021 is on the Sunday, 4th of April (4/04/2021). Palm Sunday is on the 94th day of 2021. There are 271 days left in the year, or today March 28, 2021 – depending on the calendar you go by… and your church. I’m not Catholic, so I leave it up to others to decide. In researching I found both dates.

Regardless of how the Word of God is given, the truth in the Son of God, his life, death, and ressurection is sure. As we celebrate this Palm Sunday in rememberance of our Lord, let us praise All Word of God and His Triumph over Evil. For his Kingdom is coming on earth as it is in heaven, and no force of evil can stop it!
