RUBIO STANDS BY COLLEGE TUITION BREAKS FOR ILLEGALS – AMERICANS OUT OF STATE PAY MORE!

New laws for Americans to receive free college tuition! Sounds fantastic! There is just one problem, the truth is, Marco Rubio voted for a 2004 bill he co-sponsored in the Florida legislature to provide in-state tuition to undocumented or illegal immigrants. It was narrowly drafted and set a specific eligibility criteria. Kinda of like the constitution and its’ eligibility criteria…who pays attention to that these days, right?
None the less, Rubio said on ABC’s “This Week” that he absolutely stands by the proposal. Guess if illegals sneak across the border and stay in the states undetected for a certain period of time and have a certain grade point average, they can qualify for it. Nice, right? Why isn’t anyone pushing this type of agenda for American citizens?
How in the world did the parents of American kids vote this guy in office? Did they know what they were getting?   Heck, why did they vote all the people into office? Did anyone pay any attention to what they were pushing out as laws?  Well, people are now and they are having voters remorse. Why is it that American parents flip the bill for their kids, while their tax dollars go to fund illegal alien perks?
Isn’t it time for American children to get some in state tuition and a few other breaks as well?
“It was very narrowly tailored to high-performing students who found themselves in a situation where they were brought here by their parents when they were 5, didn’t even speak another language except English and, therefore, couldn’t attend college because they were being charged like they were from out of state,” Rubio said. “They still had to pay for college, but they paid for what people paid when they lived in Florida.”
Does Rubio even know what that sounds like or means? Let me repeat the part that I cringed at again. “because they were being charged like they were from out of state.”
Excuse me anchor baby…(I can say that because now he is talking like one, and legally he is) If a child is in Florida, illegally, and now wants to go to college – they are from out of state! If anything, they should be made to pay more because they are not even a citizen. They are from another nation! Why are they even here without being in some form of process to be here legally?
Oh but Rubio added, “We didn’t legalize anybody. That’s the issue here.”
Good grief. Does he even understand the issue? The issue is why are illegals going to college without the proper visa’s and if they have them they should pay out of state tuition just like any natural or naturalized citizen has to pay to go to school in another state.
The question is, why are those that should be deported for being here illegally allowed breaks that other Americans are not allowed? Now if they did away with out of state tuition all together…there would be no argument. But since it is specifically a reward benefit for being here illegally…it is appalling.
Or so that is what it appears like to this American. I mean, if you are from Indiana or anywhere else USA and you want to go to Florida State, you have to pay a higher tuition. But if you tell them you are illegal…you get a break? GIVE ME A BREAK PLEASE!
This is a strong indication of what to expect from a Rubio presidency.  This and a voter absence of 84%.
