After the trial President Trump met with Kyle Rittenhouse and his Mother at Mar-a-lago!
Following the verdict Friday, Trump sent his well-wishes to Kyle, writing in a statement: “Congratulations to Kyle Rittenhouse for being found innocent of all charges. It’s called being found not guilty — and by the way, if that’s not self-defense, nothing is!”
President Trump told Sean Hannity of Fox News during an interview, “Kyle I got to know him a little bit. He called…. he wanted to know if he could come over and say hello because he was a fan.” Among other statements, Trump made note, “He should never have been put through that. That was prosecutorial misconduct, and it’s happening all over the United States right now with the Democrats.”
“If he had not pulled that trigger, that guy that put the gun to his head, in one quarter of a second,and he was gonna pull the trigger, Kyle would have been dead,” stated Trump.
