Plundered No More!

GOD IS NOT THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION

Why did the Lord say, “I will take his people from the false shepherds and teach them myself?” Read Ezekiel 34.

Today's Promise : Ezekiel 34:22 | Jesus Calls

The King James Version also makes reference to the false pastors:

Jeremiah 23:1

1Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD. 2Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD. 3And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. 4And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.

Why did the Lord say he will send them a comforter and that will teach them all things as he has said? And what happened to all the copies of things he did during the first forty days after his ressurection?

Acts 1:3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

Do we have the writings of the many proofs of these 40 days?  What happened to so many of these marvels? Where are they now? The writings of these things?

We have a few of these things, but certainly not forty days worth. So where did these go? The book of Nicodemus has a lot of what happened in those days and immediately after. But, alas, this has been deemed unorthodox, or not an authentic eye witness account, or whatever number of things they have called it. Toss it aside along with the books of “Death of Pilot”, “Barnabus”, “Clement”, “The Report of “Pontius Pilate”…and others…. In the case of Barnabus, he was good enough to be deemed an apostle and go out and do great things…but not good enough to believe his eye witness account of? Is that how it goes? Or is it that Barnabus explained way to much?

These things and more are the questions I ask, and so I seek answers and the Lord (not man)leads me to these type of forbidden things to read for myself …

My goodness, Barnabus sure backs up what he says with scripture now doesn’t he?

How on earth could this be unorthodox? Or was it just that by including all this would just make the Bible they were developing and or formatting far to cumbersome? After all, why would we need to be bothered with hearing any of this? Especially when it lays it out so succinctly? Or was that the reason for it? After all, Barnabas does reveal some great truths, backed by other scripture. Read Chapter 13…

So, as we learn what these others have said, we find that God indeed has allowed many other truths to survive the 2,000 year onslaught against the testimonies of the Lord and his Word. We take note that these things written are truths and not the lies or nonsense that we were told by the same ones who merged both the Words of God with the Roman religion. A religion which at that very time they worshipped a Greek patheon of gods and any god that caught their fancy, if not for superstition and wonder.

Remember Barnabus went through a tough selection following close to the word of the Prophets. Barnabus wasn’t just picked by saying, “Hey – you there come fill this slot. We need one more.” It is written in Acts what they did…

Acts1:16-20

16 Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.

17 For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.

18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

19 And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, the field of blood.

20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.

We see the example of the apostles that the Words of the Prophets were still the way they followed and they did not discard, but looked to their words for direction to complete the way of the Lord. Jesus taught the truth in the Word and corrected the misinterpretations and condemned the doctrines of man. There was a sound reason why the Lord God kept one language for his word and did not allow His word to be put into multiple scrolls of languages and interpretations. For to do so would eventually, if not quickly, allow for twisting and misinterpretation. Knowing this why do we have 38,000 denominations and 900 English translations? If an author of a book decided to make 900 different versions of the same book…which one should a reader read? What would the publisher say?  Would they allow such a strange thing? NO, they would not. They would say the author is ridiculous and must decide what version of their book they want to print, for 900 different copies that vary in dialogue is insane, and only offers confusion, let alone… not feasible to do.  But, yet this is what has been done in the World of Bible Publishing. Ask why?

When asking, remember God is not the author of confusion. That is what the devil is.

It is easy to see what man has done to the Word of God, picking at it, altering it little by little with one word here, another word there, take away books and in their place let’s make 900 translations all in English. And eventually, there was a new translation here and a few hundred new translations there…. but don’t question any of that, after all, they say it doesn’t matter how it’s translated, as long as you believe in the Lord.  Then they wink and tell you, and it all means the same…just worded differently so everyone can understand it. So we have 900 versions of the same book? And we are to believe that every word means the same thing? And besides it doesn’t really matter about translation, you don’t know what you’re talking about.

I dare say it does matter. Without the knowledge of the truth, we are easily led astray and sooner or later, we have no understanding and will believe manmade doctrine that is misconstrued the same as it was at the time of Jesus. Correcting all the lies was a huge part of Jesus’s mission. He came to correct the false teachings and free the people of the confusion and manmade covenants and commands. These were not the teachings of God and the prophets, these were the teachings of pompous men who sat in the seat of Moses in the Sanhedrin and made laws that were cumbersome for the people to remember and follow.  Jesus did many corrections telling the people ….it’s been said this, but I tell you this. He called these law makers out for their heavy yokes of burdensome laws and even disrupted their merchandizing in the Temple which he said they turned his Father’s house into a den of thieves.

So what and who was the Sanhedrin?

The Sanhedrin was the ancient Jewish court system and the supreme religious body in the Land of Israel during the time of the Holy Temple. There were also smaller religious Sanhedrin’s in every town in the Land of Israel, as well as a civil political-democratic Sanhedrin. These Sanhedrin’s existed until the abolishment of the rabbinic patriarchate in about 425 A.D.. Very similar to our court systems…where there are laws guiding all which is the constitution and bill of rights, but we have officials that sit in the seats of congress making up new laws of their own. It was political according to the earliest records of the Israeli historian Josephus who wrote that as a political Sanhedrin convened by the Romans in 57 B.C. Hellenistic sources generally depict the Sanhedrin as a political and judicial council headed by the country’s ruler.

Tannaitic sources describe the Great Sanhedrin as a religious assembly of 71 sages who met in the Chamber of Hewn Stones in the Temple in Jerusalem. The Great Sanhedrin met daily during the daytime, and did not meet on the Sabbath, festivals or festival eves. It was the final authority on Jewish law and any scholar who went against its decisions was put to death as a zaken mamre (rebellious elder). The Sanhedrin was led by a president called the nasi (lit. “prince”) and a vice president called the av bet din (lit. “father of the court”). The other 69 sages sat in a semicircle facing the leaders.

The Sanhedrin judged accused lawbreakers, but could not initiate arrests. It required a minimum of two witnesses to convict a suspect. There were no attorneys. Instead, the accusing witness stated the offense in the presence of the accused and the accused could call witnesses on his own behalf. The court questioned the accused, the accusers and the defense witnesses.

The Great Sanhedrin dealt with religious and ritualistic Temple matters, criminal matters appertaining to the secular court, proceedings in connection with the discovery of a corpse, trials of adulterous wives, tithes, preparation of Torah Scrolls for the king and the Temple, drawing up the calendar and the solving of difficulties relating to ritual law.

In about 30 B.C., the Great Sanhedrin lost its authority to inflict capital punishment. After the Temple was destroyed, so was the Great Sanhedrin.

Holy Spirit To Teach – Searching For Christ

Throughout history the followers of the way have been battling the same forces of false shepherds. They have worn different costumes, and been called by different names…yet, they are all of the same mold. Because of organized groups who desire to rule over other’s free will of thought, beliefs, and choices, we are in constant battle for the truth. The truth is what the liars fear. Why? The truth empowers people and weakens those who covet power and control over the masses. The ruler of this world cannot manipulate the mind, nor own the soul of God’s people when it is stayed upon the Holy Spirit in prayer unceasing. But oh he tries, and he is deceiving. He can sometimes enter in and get the person to make the worst choices… but, this is where the heart is then convicted that it has separated from the Lord through their choices. It’s when you know you did a wrong thing and now you must stop doing it and return to the Lord before worse things happen. It is time to ask forgiveness and pray for help from the Holy Spirit. It is a dangerous thing for a person to wander off on their own and then try to fix their own messes with more bad decisions.

What ought we then do?  Seek the truth with the Holy Spirit guiding us and read the scriptures for ourselves. The Lord’s spirit will give us the understanding and guide us. Which then brings up the question….which ones do we read?  The Bible is clear in the old testament and again in the new that manmade religion and their calculated motives for teaching things their way is a vile enemy of God’s people. He sent us a comforter to teach us and to show us the truth, guide our way, and give us wisdom and understanding through the all powerful Holy Spirit. May we each seek the truth through this powerful wise teacher by calling on the Holy Spirit in such a time as this.So stand strong and search the scriptures for yourself and let no man interpret for you for the Holy Spirit will guide and teach you.  That is not to say to not gather and learn together, it is to say that if what man is telling you is not according to the word of God, believe it not. For no scripture is of any private interpretation.

John 5:31-47

31“If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true. 32There is another who bears witness of Me, and I know that the witness which He witnesses of Me is true. 33You have sent to John, and he has borne witness to the truth. 34Yet I do not receive testimony from man, but I say these things that you may be saved. 35He was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing for a time to rejoice in his light. 36But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish—the very works that I do—bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me. 37And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form. 38But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. 39You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. 40But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.

41 “I do not receive honor from men. 42 But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you. 43 I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive. 44 How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God? 45 Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you—Moses, in whom you trust. 46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. 47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”

People are waking up and seeing what has been done today is parallel to what happened to the Jews in the Temple days. The man made laws of the Sanhedrin were  why the first followers of the way were declared blasphemers and death decrees were made to them, for they went against the power of the Sanhedrin and their self- proclaimed laws that Jesus told them to their own faces were far from the laws of Moses, see Mathew 23:1-12.

We are rising up and searching the scriptures with the power of the Holy Spirit and many are seeing what the truth is and always was. No matter what historic date we pull up since the Lord sent the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost to enter into the body of those who believe the truth and follow Him, we will find some type of man made council doing the same things. Making man made doctrine and deciding what will and will not be permissible for mankind to read regarding the Lord and the Prophets of God Almighty.

It appears these misguided souls are of the same cloth that if the Word doesn’t fit their theology, then remove the books until you have what  you need to support your ideas and what you want to teach as true. The trouble with this type of cunning is, sooner or later you will be caught and weighed in the balance and found wanting!  Such a time is now in play…people are discovering many wrong things have been done, taught, and told to them that this is what you are to believe – you will like it or go to hell.

So it began with killing our Lord, then condemning the teachings of the way of Jesus, followed up by burning any writings and forbidding any such practice which led to the stoning of Stephen and all out killing of any and all followers of the way for blasphemy against the teachings of the Sanhedrin led Temple.

It did not end there, it has continued throughout history and up to this very day.

When those against the Catholic dogma protested, they too had their share of deciding what will and will not be taught. Accordingly, why did Protestants remove books from the Bible?  Some Protestants excluded the ‘Old Testament’ texts that weren’t included by the Jews sitting on the Sanhedrin due to political views such as the Books of Maccabees (so, disregarding compilation and translation choices, the standard Protestant OT is exactly the same material as the Tanakh).

There are the 7 extra books in the Catholic Bible called the Deuterocanonical books. They are Tobit, Judith, 1 Maccabees, 2 Maccabees, Wisdom of Solomon, Wisdom of Sirach (also called Ecclesiasticus), and Baruch including the Letter of Jeremiah.

Protestant Martin Luther wanted to not only remove these, but he also made an attempt to remove the books of Hebrews, James, Jude and Revelation from the canon (notably, he perceived them to go against certain Protestant doctrines such as sola gratia and sola fide) but fortunately his followers did not generally accept Luther’s personal judgment in this matter.

Another thing Martin Luther did knowingly or unknowingly that changed the Bible was while he was sequestered in the Wartburg Castle (1521–22) he began to translate the New Testament using the Greek version into German in order to make it more accessible to all the people of the “Holy Roman Empire of the German nation. In using  the Greek text to translate, it threw off some of the original meanings.

New Strength — Arborlawn UMC

So today, most are still shouting, like Hillary’s famous words, “What difference at this point does it make?”  Well, whether a few people were out walking one night and decided to kill a bunch of people or not…that ship has sailed so what’s the point in that type of rhetoric? That right there, is why we are in such a mess and headed like a runaway train toward a one world religion where none of what we have will be upheld. And that is also why the Lord has declared to the prophets of old that he is angry at the false shepherds and condemned them for not feeding his sheep. It is why the Lord said he shall take his sheep from them and teach them himself. Therefore he has sent the Holy Spirit to live inside his sheep called by his name to teach, guide and comfort them in the way they should go and he shall dwell in them and them in Him. It is the new covenant by the priestly Order of Melchizedek.

John 14:14-20

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

2 Corinthians 4 - NIV Bible - Therefore, since through God's mercy we have this...

2 Corinthians 6:16-18

16  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17  Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord.

So stand strong and search the scriptures for yourself and let no man interpret for you for the Holy Spirit will guide and teach you.  Again, that is not to say to not gather and learn together, it is to say that if what man is telling you is not according to the word of God, believe it not. For no scripture is of any private interpretation.

2 Peter 1:16-21

16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.

19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Keep on pressing into the Kingdom of God!
