Mark Taylor speaks on the Doctrine of the Nicolaitan, that thing the Lord hates and explains what it is and what the church needs to do to come away from the evil that is warned of in Revelation by the Lord to the SPIRIT OF THE CHURCHES.
Revelations 2:12-17 KJV
12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
What is the doctrine of the Nicolaitans? What is this doctrine that the Lord HATES?
The doctrine of the Nicolaitans was one that taught it was okay to compromise with the world system, including materialism and tolerance of immorality. It fits right in with many doctrines preached today. You know the ones so I won’t list them all, but it sums up in allowing government to shepherd your church and allows for a lot of mega church prosperity teachings, and uses God as the reason for it, after all He wants you to do your own thing whatever makes you happy (as long as you tithe and give great offerings, otherwise a curse shall come upon you for you reap what you sow.) That my friends is using God’s Word as a weapon to deceive. It is not what the Lord said to teach nor how to feed his sheep.
The Lord warned of strangers who come to steal, kill and destroy his flocks. And He spoke of HIS SHEEP WHO KNOW HIS VOICE WILL BE ABLE TO SPOT A DECEIVER FOR THE LORD KNOWS THEM AND THEY FOLLOW HIM NOT A FALSE SHEPHERD.
John 10:27
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me”.
In these deceiving days where everything is being shaken, we must discern all things and not be taken in by false teachings. It is a time to repent and come out from the world. We don’t want a world order, we don’t want their communism… and so it is a must to wake up and stand for the Lord and live by his commands. The Lord is calling people to come out from the slumber and follow him. He is the good shepherd.
These are days of separating the wheat from the tares and then the wheat from the chaff. There is one way to the Lord and it is not through a ticket to a carnival where everything is mixed up together with opposing spirits in a political merchandising package preying on people who are hurt and seeking truth.
Many have gone in the way of the Nicolaitans…that thing the Lord hates. You can’t mix the Way of the Lord with the way of the world. Especially in these days where we are being called to come out from her my people. This form of Godliness is not what the Lord is calling his remnant to do. Those who hear the Lord’s voice and recognize the perilous season we are in, are of his remnant and are now calling for the people to come out from her – the false churches, led by the government 501c3 dictates that puts the government in control and not the Lord, lest ye share in her plagues. The Lord is judging his churches and a big shaking is taking place. Now is the time to return to the Lord while he is calling for people to come to him.
