                          CHAPTER I.

                           The Wicked and The Righteous

Enoch a righteous man born the 7th generation of Adam, and son of Jared, was a high priest of the people who followed the ways of God. He had been praying for his people and was in deep concern of the present corruption influenced by the fallen angels, known as Watchers. They had been showing mankind how to do all manner of evil and turning God’s people away from Him. Enoch was fasting and praying for the people to resist their evil temptations.  Suddenly, an Angel appeared to Him and said,

“Come Enoch. I must show you what is to be.”

Enoch was not startled, for Angels had come to him before. Yet, he was not expecting to see what the Angel had for him to see.

“Enoch, you must remember all you see. Write it down. For it is not for this generation, but, for a remote one which is to come.”

Enoch, now very curious answered, “What generation is this that will receive the words you have me write?”

“The words are for the elect and righteous who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed.”

“When shall this be?”

“The time of the Day of The Wrath of God.”

Suddenly, the angel placed Enoch into a deep vision.

THE VISION:

The Angel spoke to Enoch, “The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling, and the eternal God will tread upon the earth, (even) on Mount Sinai.

“He shall appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens.

“All shall be smitten with fear. The Watchers shall quake, and great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth.”

Enoch looked and suddenly saw the ground begin to shake, and heave. A strange darkness hid the sun. The earth opened up and the mountains were moved out of their places, swallowed up by giant fissures, while red hot molten lava spewed forth melting what was left of the very last mass of rock, that once was an unsurpassable mountain range.

He beheld, massive title waves coming upon great cities with towering buildings on a grand scale, he watched as the people screamed in terror, running with nowhere to hide. He saw masses of people swallowed up in flames of fire as asteroids pummeled the earth. Fires raged and the earth continued to quake. Enoch watched towering buildings slide into opened chasms, and the earth shook like a shanty.

“What is this thing?” asked Enoch.

“It is the divine judgment upon all men. All that is upon the earth shall now perish. It will be wholly rent asunder.”

“But, are there no righteous? This cannot be.”

“Enoch, fear not, for with the righteous He will make peace.”

“How with all of this that I see?”

“The Lord of Lords and King of Kings will protect the elect, and mercy shall be upon them.”

“But, all is being destroyed?”

“God’s ways are not man’s ways. They that are left, shall all belong to God. They shall be prospered and they shall all be blessed.”

Enoch continued to watch the horrid vision, he prostrated himself to his knees. “This image I cannot bear to see.”

“Fear not Enoch for as I said, God will help the righteous. His light shall appear unto them. He will make peace with them. Behold.”

Enoch looked up and saw the most Majestic heavenly vision of the glorious Armies of Heaven, and myriads of Angels, so many, he could not number them. He gasped and trembled to see such an array of power, led by the most Kingly one on a white horse.

“Enoch, behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones to execute judgment upon all, and to destroy all the ungodly.”

Enoch trembled and tears streamed down his strong chiseled cheeks, “This is truly a time of wrath and vengeance for all people. Why did this come upon them?”

“God is just. He has given mankind a great length of time to return to him. They have not. He comes now to convict all flesh of all the works of their ungodliness, which they have ungodly committed, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”

The angel lifted Enoch high into the heavens. As Enoch soared upward, the earth became small. He is in awe of what is taking place. The angel hovered with Enoch in mid air high above the earth. He held out his arm as if to display the universe.

“Observe, Enoch, everything that takes place in the heaven, how they do not change their orbits, and the luminaries which are in the heaven, how they all rise and set in order each in its season, and transgress not against their appointed order. Behold the earth, and give heed to the things which take place upon it from first to last, how all the works of God appear and do as they are ordered to do.

“See how all God’s works go on from year to year for ever, and all the tasks they accomplish for Him, change not, but do according as God hath ordained it to be done.

“But, these have not been steadfast, nor done the commandments of the Lord, they have turned away and spoken proud and hard words, with impure mouths against His greatness.

“These hard-hearted, shall find no peace.”

The Angel took Enoch to a higher heaven. Enoch soared upward, traveling at such great speed all he could see was a blur. In a flash, they appear in front of a golden building of stately architecture. Enoch was amazed as the angel led him inside. He took Enoch over to a table with parchment and ink.

“Sit Enoch.”

Enoch sat down and looked at the parchment and writing instruments.

“Enoch, you must now write.”

Enoch picked up the writing instrument and the angel dictated to him.

“ Therefore shall ye execrate your days and the years of your life shall perish, and the years of your destruction shall be multiplied in eternal execration, and ye shall find no mercy.

“ In those days ye shall make your names an eternal execration unto all the righteous, and by you shall all who curse, curse, and all the sinners and godless shall imprecate by you, and for you, the godless, there shall be a curse.

“And all the righteous shall rejoice for there shall be forgiveness of sins, and every mercy and peace and forbearance: There shall be salvation unto them, a goodly light.

“But, for all of you sinners there shall be no salvation, instead, on you all shall abide a curse.”

Enoch wrote with great speed, a speed he had never before experienced and did not pause his writing instrument, as the angel continued to dictate words.

“ But for the elect there shall be light and joy and peace, and they shall inherit the earth.

“Then there shall be bestowed upon the elect, great wisdom, and they shall all live and never again sin, either through ungodliness or through pride: But they who are wise shall be humble. And they shall not again transgress,

“ Nor shall they sin all the days of their life, nor shall they die of the divine anger or wrath, but they shall complete the number of the days of their life.

“Their lives shall be increased in peace, and the years of their joy shall be multiplied, in eternal gladness and peace, all the days of their life.” .

The angel looked at Enoch. “Now take the scroll and when you return, write all the other things that you have seen with your own eyes.”

Enoch rolled up the scroll and the angel waved his hand over his head.

END OF VISION

Instantly Enoch was traveling as though through a tunnel and awoke in the place where he was meditating and praying. He looked and the scroll was laying before him on the table and the Heavenly writing instrument was there. He went to the table and sat and wrote all the rest of what his eyes were shown.
