BEHIND THE VEIL…

THE SACRIFICE OF OUR LORD ONCE AND FOR ALL THE ATONEMENT FOR ALL SINS…A NEW WAY, A NEW TESTAMENT GOD HAS MADE WITH HIS PEOPLE – ALL OF THEM!

The political upheaval at the time of Jesus was not something that just sprang up all of a sudden. It was a long process of events leading up to that appointed time. The Five Books of Maccabees explain all the history that took place from the time of Daniel to the coming of the Messiah. An understanding of the events help to open our eyes to a lot of unanswered questions pertaining to the days our Lord ministered and taught the people and how the politics of the day played a role that threatened those in power.

The history of Herod when the Romans appointed him king- over the Jews, and his departure from Rome with an army to fight against the Holy House.

Augustus and the senate, informed of what  Antigonus had done, with one consent appointed Herod king over the Jews; commanding him to put a golden diadem on his head, and to mount a horse, and that it should be proclaimed by trumpets preceding him, ” Herod is king over the Jews ” and the holy city Jerusalem :” which was done. And returning to Augustus, he rode, and Augustus, and Antony; and they went to Antony’s house, who had invited the senate and all the citizens of Rome to a banquet which he had prepared. And they did eat and drink, and rejoiced over Herod with great joy, making with him a treaty engraven in tables of brass ; and it was placed in the temples. And they inscribed that day as the first of Herod’s reign, and from that time it was taken for an era, by which times are counted. After these things, Antony and Herod departed by sea with a great and abundant army and when they came to Antioch, they divided their forces, and Antony took a part and led it into the country of the Persians which is Herak  and the parts adjacent, and Herod, taking another part, went straight till he came to Ptolemais.

Five Maccabees takes you into the clear history up to the times of 3 and 4 bc where you see all that took place in the capturing of Israel and all the battles of Rome, Egypt and surrounding conflicts with Persia during this time of possession of Israel under Roman rule. These are things that were in our Bible but taken out and hidden. Why? Because it shows the political landscape and the evils of the days in Jerusalem and the area at the time Jesus came to set up God’s Kingdom. It displays many of the same corruptions and upheavals we are seeing today and going through the same challenges that will Usher in the Lord’s return. For evil cannot, nor never shall be blessed.

You will understand more clearly why King Herrod was threatened by the workings of John The Baptist and his mission as one “Crying in the wilderness” as prophecied in Isaiah, for he was the last of the Levitical Priesthood and had just transferred the Priesthood over to the Messiah that was to come by the Heavenly Priesthood of the Order of Melchizedek. They all knew this and were threatened for they were all evil hearted men, concerned only with their own vain positions and to keep them nothing was beyond their hearts to keep their power and status, be it bribery, war, or murder.

Isaiah 40:3King James Version

3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Mark 1:3King James Version

The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

The High priest, Pharisees, Saducees, and King Herod would and did do anything possible to keep the people of Jerusalem in their proper lockstep placement. Even going as far as to kill the one crying in the wilderness who was John the Baptist, and following up with their true Messiah, Jesus the Son of God. You will see the ugly truth that took place in history that prepared and led up to the time Jesus was born. You will understand more clearly why the angel told Joseph and Mary to leave Bethlehem and flee to Egypt. For there had already been a place prepared there as a result of the turmoil in the days of the Maccabean revolt. You will see…there were still many Jewish temples and teachings in Alexandria. And why it made perfect protection to go there. Understanding the past events that were hidden, help us to see more clearly what the upheavals at the time of our lord and his ministry were sent to correct. For they all had gone astray far away from the commandments of God and were now following the commandments of men.

Does this sound familiar? We presently have over (so I heard a pastor say) 38,000 denominations of the Church. God is not the author of confusion. These divisions all have their own man made covenants. So how do we choose the right one … which one is of the Lord? Which one is the Lord’s church for those called out? The first disciples were called the followers of the way, for they followed the way of Jesus. Later at Antioch they were called Christos…little Christ followers…and it was not presented in a glorifed manner..it was a name given to them as a label and a mocking. But they took it and kept it just the same. Similar to Trump supporters being called deplorables.

The fear of The High Priest Caiaphas and King Herod

It was Jesus birthright and proven by geneology to be in line to become both the High Priest and King of Israel. Both the High Priest Caiaphas and King Herod both felt threatened by Jesus. But, he did not pursue to be an earthly king or priest for he was the Messiah and the High Priest of the Heavenly Order of Melchizedek. He is the King of Kings, the Son of God and his kingdom is not of this world. Refer to the book of Hebrews in the King James Version.

Psalms 110:4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews  6: 20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

The Levitical Priesthood  was until the Messiah who is of the Heavenly Priesthood by the order of Melchisedec.

Hebrews 5:6 Context
2Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity. 3And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins. 4And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. 5So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, today have I begotten thee. 6As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. 7Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; 8Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Hebrews 5:10  Context

9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; 10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. 11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. 12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Hebrews 7:9 Context

6But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises. 7And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better. 8And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth. 9And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. 10For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him11If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? 12For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

The Red Heifer

“He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth.”  (Isaiah 11:12; see also Jeremiah 23:3, 8; Ezekiel 28:25; Ezekiel 11:17; Zechariah 10:6–12; Psalm 147:2)

The purpose of the sacrifice of a red heifer was to atone for the sins of Israel. The question is this – is it necessary to do this today? If so why? First let us look at who the King of Tyre really is.

EZEKIEL 28:25 IN ITS CONTEXT: 12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

Satan, The Prince and King of Tyrus | People Get Ready

16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

20 Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

21 Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it, (Zidon is the first born of Canaan)

22 And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.

23 For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the Lord.

24 And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord God.

25 Thus saith the Lord God; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.

26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the Lord their God.

In Hebrews 9:1 it explains that the first covenant had ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary. It explains that the Levitical Priesthood first had a tabernacle made where they placed the candlestick, the table, and the shewbread which was called the sanctuary. When you entered there was a second veil which behind it was a tabernacle called the Holiest of all; The Holy of Holies. In this Holy of Holies was the golden censer and the ark of the covenant which was overlaid round about with gold. Inside it held the golden pot that had manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant (commandments of God). Over the top of the ark of the covenant were cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat. Concerning the mercy seat Hebrews states we cannot now speak particularly, which indicates something changed?

Crucifixion | The Bible Says That

Hebrews states that when these things were ordained, the priests always went into the first tabernacle, and accomplished the service of God, but only the high priest was allowed to enter into the Holy of Holies and to go in alone. Even then, the high priest was only to enter it once every year and to enter with blood that he offered for himself and for the errors or sins of the people.

It notes specifically that the Holy Ghost thus signified that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.

Hebrews 9:8  “The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing.”

This was the practice under the Levitical Priesthood, as Hebrews states it was for the time then present in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices that could not make the one doing the service perfect pertaining to the conscience. The other practices concerning meats, drinks and different types of ceremonial washings and carnal ordiances that were imposed on them did this and this was to be done only until the time of reformation which that would be when their true Messiah came.

Hebrews clearly states that Christ came as high priest of good things to come by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with mans hands, meaning “not of this building“. He stresses that it was not by the blood of goats and calves, but by HIS OWN BLOOD He entered in ONCE into the holy place, having obtained ETERNAL REDEMPTION FOR US.

It is then stressed that if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctified to the purifying of the flesh than how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? It was the perfect sacrifice once and for all.

He is risen! He is risen indeed! - TownTalk Radio

Hebrews 9:13-14 King James Version

13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:

14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

So it was for this cause that our Lord is the mediator of the new testament that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal life – eternal inheritance. Hebrews explains that where there is a testament, there must also be the death of the testator, for a testament is of force after men are dead, otherwise it is of no strength while the testator lives.

Hebrews explains that the first testament (what we call the old testament) was dedicated without blood and shows that Moses spoke every precept to all the people according to the law, and took the blood of calves and goats, with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop and sprinkled both the book and all the people saying, this is the blood of the testament which God hath given to you. He also sprinkled the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministy.

Under the old testament almost all things are by the law, purged with blood and without the shedding of blood there is no remission. It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified in the manner instructed by Moses and performed as a shadow of things to come. But the heavenly things to come were themselves better sacrifices than these that they did. For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands which the Holy of Holies represented the heavens, But Christ entered into heaven itself, and now to appear in the presence of God for us.

31 Ripped ideas | tabernacle of moses, bible pictures, the tabernacle

Nor should the Lord have to offer himself up often, like the high priests do yearly enter into the holy place with the blood of others.

It states in Hebrews 9:24-28

24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;

26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

In all that is written it is stating clearly that once the Messiah has come and sacrificed himself for all sins that it is finished. The days of blood sacrifices are over. The Temple and the Levitical Priesthood were a shadow of things to come and when the Lord Jesus came and offered his body as a living sacrifice, the former things were finished.

Hebrews 10:12-26

” But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;”

13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

21 And having an high priest over the house of God;

22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.

image 80

Therefore, there is no need for the sacrifice of a red heifer to atone for sins for the Lord Jesus Christ has made that sacrifice and now sits on the right hand of God. So for followers of the Lord to look forward to the sacrifice of a red heifer is not in the commands of our Lord Jesus to do. Therefore, whatever the doings of those who reject Christ the Messiah, are not of a thing asked of us to do, nor anything we ought to partake in, nor glory in. At least that is what I see in the scriptures.

If any can show in scripture where this is what the Lord who is High Priest of the Order of Mechilzedek must do then bring the scripture(s) forward. What I have found are scriptures showing the new priesthood and the commandments for those who follow the way of the Lord. In those scriptures it is clear that the days of blood sacrifice for atonement of sins are complete by the death and ressurection of our Lord Jesus the Christ.

Again the scriptures clearly state Jesus our Lord is now seated on the right hand of God our Father in heaven.

Keep pressing forward into the Kingdom of God!
